I was checking out camping around elizabeths furnace and wanted some local opinion...I live in Gainesville. I am used to hike in camping....but...I have two kids and a wife now. I would love to find an area where it's a short walk in to set up camp near a river. I do not like the "organized campsites" where you have 50 people next to you. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I did check out the elizabeths furnace camping area....I love the area....didn't like the campground. Are there any other areas along the river there where you can walk in and camp?
