Anything involving a zucchini should be a felony.

BECAUSE - the bear was invading human space and is an obvious danger. They will simply relocate the bear. I lived in MT for years. The bear relocation folks know their business and will not kill this bear. They will use a culvert trap and simply drive the bear to a place you would die to live in and turn it loose.

I agree--I hate it when they go and search them out to kill them after an attack.

Bears can be so rude, always thinking about themselves and disregarding boundaries....

Remember when the EXPERT bruin relocators shot the mama bear in the ass while up a power pole in the North East Heights of Albuquerque? She received months of medical care/rehab, as far away as Oregon or Washington as I remember. I watched her smoke all the way to the ground as she crossed the power lines following a traumatic chase through heights neighborhoods, attended by shouts, screams, sirens and general chaos. I don't remember if she was repatriated to her Sandia Mountains home or not.
Anybody out there know?

That isn't always the case, it's the best, but isn't what always happens.

Oh yes, I remember that incident just like you do! I don't recall the end result though.
