Well that sucks that you believe everything that you read. The source this came from also reports being Kennys friend for years. Well, I happen to have been Kennysbest friend for years and know that every word that source has said is utter bullshit. He was not Kennys friend. That click/ group of friends all took advantage of Kenny. They took his medications from him. They let weathly Kenny buy drugs and do every damn speck of it with them and they never ever ever gave two shits or a fuck about his health, well being, state of mind, or anything else that had to do with anything but his wallet and his ablitilty to get drugs. They kept him going and going. That is why Kenny left jackson. To start fresh, get everyhing back in a row and live a happy life. Then you have your past jump through the fucking door and pur cement around its feet in your living room and say " take care of me or else ". How the fuck do you think you can even begin to know the facts buddy? No one really knows what happened to the T. But having been Kennys support and best friend from the damn begining, I think I have a pretty big fucking clue!

This discussion board is a good example of why we have jury trials in the United States. Some of you have convicted Kenny and some of you profess his innocence. I say we let the jury decide. Those of us who know Kenny, know that he didn't MURDER anyone. He certainly killed Mike, there is little doubt about that, but we have to give him his right to innocence. At the trial - whenever it may be - will give Kenny the opportunity to either take responsibility or provide a valid defense. We don't know the evidence, there is much more here than we know from reading the Missoulian. If we were to rely on the newspaper to convict people of crimes, then we would all be in a world of trouble. Despite what Kenny did on that terrible morning, he is a good person - I believe that in my heart. In the end Kenny has to live with those events, self-defense or otherwise Kenny will serve a life sentence. "In anger his master turned him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed. Cyril Richard faces murder charges for the 2008 death of 31 year old Michael Meadows. Attorneys for Richards say in 2005 he was in an accident that left him in a coma. They say he suffers from post traumatic stress disorder and brain damage. Today a judge told attorneys to give prosecutors Richards' medical records. Prosecutors are looking to negotiate a plea deal.

We celebrated the 1 year anniversary of Michael's Death earlier this year... and I had a moment of silence on the anniversary of his body being found,(a month and a half after his brutal death.)
I cried... said a prayer and asked Mike to keep his hands over his daughter as she walks through life without him... and in my heart I knew he heard me... and his hands forever stay over her... everyday and night. RIP MICHAEL JAMES MEADOWS

Response to the above: It is funny how, in death, people become more than what they were. Suddenly Mike was a great father and he wasn't a vagabond traveling around doing drugs and leeching off of people. No daughter should be without her father, but her father wasn't there in the first place. Yes there was that possibility, but if Mike was such a good father then why was he in Missoula/Jackson and she was in California? I don't want to attack the dead, but you pretend to "know" about this case. Here is my prediction: Kenny will be out of prison by the time you celebrate the fith anniversary of Mike's death. To correct you, Kenny never "confessed" to murdering Mike, he confessed to getting into fight with Mike, panicking and disposing of the body. He only told the police about this after being interrogated for two days, while intoxicated, on drugs from the hospital, in extreme pain, without sleep, without food. Yeah, I am sure you would want to be held to every sentence you uttered in conditions like that. Mike shouldn't have died, he was a good guy. But every story has two sides and you don't know the half of it. I guess we will see in court.

I have never sat here for one second and said that Michael was some kind of saint or angel in life, he was far from it, to say that I glorified him into something he wasn’t would have to be a statement made by some one who might have known Michael all their life, but in fact this statement cannot be made, cause you didn’t know the Michael that I knew... nor did I know the Mike that you knew- See the thing is, is that when I was with and Married to Michael for 5 and a half years, he was different from the man you describe (a drug addict homeless man) see when I knew him he was still a man of little and didn’t have much, coming from a past that none of you know anything about, he was just trying to make it in life... We met had our life together and our daughter and during that time was a good provider and father to his daughter, he was happy and doing well in life- but we all must remember no one is perfect and when we split he became depressed and started using drugs again and that is when he made the decision not to get back into his daughters life until he could be the man she deserved in her life... you say that he wasn’t around his daughter because he was a bad man off doing horrible things... But did you know that about 2 months before he was so brutally murdered by your “friend” Kenny, he had been in California, trying to locate us his daughter… and he kind of found us I lost touch with Michael and I tried to find him numerous times, to no avail~ But when he was in California he had found my father and left a message… but my father was on vacation and we didn’t receive the message until after Michael had been on his way back to Montana, to only be killed a few months later by your “friend” I wonder if I had gotten that message a few days earlier that Michael would still be alive, because if he would have found us faster, maybe he would have stayed in Cali with his beautiful daughter and this would have all never happened… but see your “friend” Kenny already has a troubled past, too many DUI’s, DRUGS now a murder case…how sad.
You think that it’s cute to say I don’t know what I am talking about in this case and you will see me in court- well dear you will. See the thing is that when your friend killed Michael,(he did a horrible job so they have great evidence) and since I was still married to Michael at the time of his death- I am his next of kin, and in being his next of kin they tell me what’s going on with this case and since I am here in California and cant be there all the time, I get regular updates, on all the court proceeding, I am in contact with our lawyer ect.
And I have a few questions for you- are you Kenny’s “next of kin” did you get a copy of the records? All the court proceedings, do you know what they found when they discovered Michael’s body? Cause I don’t believe that you have a copy of the Autopsy report or all the info that I have because I am his wife still legally I get to know everything. The sad thing is that you have to hear it from Kenny, the liar, the one who is still alive… NOW THAT’S ONE SIDED!

The judge makes his own decision it’s a way to let the family be heard.
Believe me all I want is justice for my child and her father
Your little “friends” confession is not the only thing they have to hold him down to what he did you say that Kenny wasn’t in the right mind in anything that he did within those days that lead up to the confession and the confession its self, the real truth is, is that he was thinking clear enough when he stabbed Michael to death, then wrapped him up… thinking clear enough to, drag Michael down 3 flights of stairs, stuff him in the back of his car, clearly enough to drive to get gas and smokes before he drove 30+ miles to dispose of Michael, to drive back and then clean up 3 flights of stairs with blood covering them, clear enough to start the laundry and wash the towels and doing all of that while he broke his own arm to keep his self defense story he was making up in his head the whole time he was cleaning up, See I think Kenny is a lot smarter then we all think, he just plays stupid very well.

Kenny was a good friend of mine and is no different then most young men you'll come to know or meet except he's in jail for homicide. Like most people in jail or prison he was a good guy that did something stupid. For any of you to rally round in a lynchin' mob and call him a monster is absurd. The fact is nobody really knows what happened that night. It really hurts me to read the ignorance posted here. What happened to mike and kenny could happen to you.
