Well I think that the soccer teams are going to have the talent again just like last year. Cliff puts forth alot of effort to make sure each us girls play and play right. We dont wait until it is time for season to start practicing we have practice every Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturdays for now. I hope we do better than last year but who can complain WE ARE ALL A 11th REGION CHAMPIONS, 21st. DISTRICT RUNNERS UP, WENT TO STATE, and 11th REGION SIMIFINALISTS!!!!! NOW HOW MANY TEAMS HAS DONE THAT IN THE PAST 10 YEARS???

The soccer team has accomplished wonderful things and that is great. I am very pleased to hear that...you go girls! and lets do it even better next season.

The basketball team hasn't done as well. The team has a alot of talented players. I think we need a new coach to fix this problem.

Boys basketball coach needs time, first year. They should be better this year, he is probably a good coach if he has a couple years. Girls basketball didn't do to bad, coach kindy a jerk! Softball should have done much, much better. They had the talent but no leader (coach).

Girls didnt do to bad are you kidding me! This year is the first year in a very long time in Menifee that Menifee Ladys Cats has had a winning season. If some of you realized how much time and effort these girls and guys put into the sports that they play you might be ashamed to say anything negative about them. During there season it is seven days a week that they are either praticing or playing games. Not to mention the summer leagues and camps that they attend off season and open gyms, weight lifting and exercising at the wellness center. The county itself needs to be ashamed for not being out there to support our sports programs but instead some of you think you having bragging rights on them when things are tuff. The boys basketball team this year was a building year for them, they lost about 7 or 8 boys from there bench last year alone and on top of that a new coach which I might add has done an excellent job so far. Our gym, soccer bleachers and baseball/softball bleachers should be full of fans to support the effort that these talent kids put forth for their school sports. Please take time to get out there and support our sports programs.

well said Lady Cats!!! I can remember a time not too awfully long ago when the bleachers were full. one or two bad seasons and the fans just give up. the boys team will be great in the near future. and as for the girls, ill take a coach who is a jerk that gets 17 wins over a super sweet and nice one who has losing records. now a days it is a year round sport. congrats to all the athletes who give their time and effort it will pay off. and congrats to that jerk coach too.

I am a fan who was at every game this past season for the lady cats and guess what? That jerk of a coach should have and could have won more than 17 games this season if he had of done a better job at coaching.

i am from bath co and have watched our girls teams for years. And because of that i have watched your girls teams for years. and whether you like it or not, when compared to good 16 region teams, both bath and menifee are not that good. they just dont have the talent of other teams. you can lie to yourself all you want and you probably had a kid on the team basketball fan, but if you are honest with yourself and know anything about basketball then you would know that you all are not that talented compared to the good 16 region teams. but over the years i have noticed a huge improvement with your alls girls team. but i think its hilarious that when you do get some success, its not enough. you all go through coaches over there like hotcakes. and now you have had the same coach for 2 whole years and the team is beginning to be successful and its still not good enough. we just fired our coach over here after he beat you all and made it to region. dumb move in my opinion. we have the same team coming back and with his coaching we could have been better this year. but now they will have to adjust to another coach like your alls teams do every year. face it, our kids are not used to winning. its tough to win the tough games when you are used to losing period. tell your alls coach to apply here we would not mind having him. and we pay more. you all are hilarious. wake up and see the program is on the right track. or, get rid of him and start all over. again, hilarious. maybe one day all the people who run coaches off will apply to be one. thats even more hilarious.

Sorry hilarious but I don't have a child on the team. I am just a spectator who doesn't settle for losing. With our talent we should have played that regional game because we had beat Bath three times during the season. I too feel that it is stupid that you got rid of your coach as well, but as far as our coach goes...you can have him. Comments like that is why our kids walk into a gym before the games starts with the attitude that they have already lost before hitting the court...sorry that I won't settle for losing. Yes we wond 17 games this past season, but there are several games that should and could have been won that were not, the district game is not the only one. I just want to see both programs be successful.

sorry, but i think when you go from 6 to 8 wins a season to 17 wins in a season your team is getting pretty successful. and as for the coach situation, i think he is doing a great job and i have noticed that he puts all he has into his coaching and doesn't like to lose either, who does??? anyways i think the girls will do great at menifee this year. but hilarious is right, nothing is ever good enough and menifee always runs the coaches off so its kind of hard to be successful. good luck lady cats!

Yeah you are right...menifee does run the coaches off; however, i have never partaked in that. Coach Brown was wonderful, but they run him off. Coach Vice was also a great coach but parents weren't happy with her so they run her off, but she was a wonderful coach who knew the game of basketball. This coach, to me which is just my opinion, doesn't measure up to past coaches. Yeah we improved our record, but look at who was played. Alot of teams that we used to play we don't such as Rowan County who is in our our district. I would just like to see the program be successful because I feel that the team does have some talent.

The boys coach is a great teacher and seems to know what he is doing. With the Talent that is moving on up...(last years freshmen) I think that the boys basketball team is going to be great. The coach knows how to push them and they definately have talent. I personally can't wait until their senior year!
