you know Blane, any person can "fall down" at any given time. i once had a brother-in-law that happened to. we didn't kick him while he was down, but talked to him how important in life he was to the family. we told him his good qualities and what he meant to all of us. i think sometimes a person just needs to hear that someone cares. it worked for my brother-in-law. he's now clean and straight and has been in years. some people, not all, seems to turn to a life of drugs because they just give up in life and nobody is there to help them get up and be that productive citizen they can be. i feel sorry for whoever does this. if it was one of my boys, i would bend over backwards to get them back on track. my wife works with young adults{16-23 yr. old} who are trying to get off drugs and alcohol. she says the biggest thing that helps them is telling them they are of an importance in life and somebody does care about them; she usually gets really good results. i guess the ole saying, "a little praise goes a long ways" really is true!!!!

Bravo! I love the way you guys are talking, This is great, and if and when I see Scott I will tell him he is loved, and needed. I find this stuff hard to believe, but anyway all of us are subject to finding ourselves in a down mode in our lives. None of us are exempt, except, and only by the Grace of God. Seek his forgivenness each and everyday and beg for his forgiveness. Pray for each other and love your neighbor as yourself, and maybe just maybe things will get better for us all, and try not to gossip about our fellow man.

by the way military bratt, i really don't care much about gossip threads either. i like to read positive things, community actions, our county government issues, and common intrests of people. ain't got much for bad language or people bashing, except for politicians, cause sometimes i just have to throw in a political joke, but they are never nasty. i like good ole fashioned humor. helps make the day go by a little bit better!!!

Me too, press it, lifes is too short to get on here and make enemies. I enjoy politics that are positive also. I like to see people who want to hold politicians responsible, they work for us and they should report to us. We need to see where our monies and resources are used. It is just good stewardship, and is really required of us to hold them accountable. They all promise open records, till they get there, then you ask to see the books, and they would like to persecute you. The more we urge them to make everything public, the easier it will be for us, and them, because they will know we are watching. Leave a cookie jar open and unguarded and all the chips will disappear, or show up in a pie somewhere.

Yes, Scottie was married before and his ex wife lives in Lex as far as I know. If you are genuinely concerned you can call our phone number, which is listed in the telephone book and I would gladly answer any questions you may have about Scotties past and present. Have a Merry Christmas!
