Love to see French Lick open. Hate to know that it is at the expense of the days even 25 years ago--you could go hear the Monks practicing--walk through the woods--take the steam engine train on a short ride. Hope that the history that used to be throughout the hotel did not get lost.

Considering that the Cook Group spared no expense to restore it to its original glory including restoring the murals and gold leaf, I believe it will be very historically accurate.

This will be a great addition to the Indiana gaming scene. The next step is to remove the stupid "riverboat" requirement and allow a casino to open in the old Union Station in Indy. The revenue for the state and city would be phenomenal.

Pretty sad thing for Indiana when the state has to depend on gamblers to help solve the financial crisis... then turn around and offer Gamblers Crisis helpline,,, Guess we're all Gamblers with this state...

WOW! a comment like that coming from sombody with a New Jeresy ISP address! Can you say Atlantic city there buddy! Now that is a state dependant on Gambling not Indiana. As exampled by what happened when Atlantic city went on strike earlier this year and the effect it had. I don't see Indiana nor Indianapolis having that same reaction by one industry.
