People sitting around a blackjack table in suits and ties make it an obvious fake. How much did these rubes wager?

It was a VIP event, didn't you read it? That would be why they are in ties and such.

Why don't you save Illinois, we'll worry about Indiana!

We were in French Lick and the area around Lake Patoka at the end of October and from a distance the new casino looked fantatic. When the West Baden hotel is open the tourist trade should be a real asset to Orange County as well as the surrounding area. Roads leading to French Lick and West Baden are in very good shape. We look forward to visiting the area again soon. HB

I'm so glad that the Casino has finally become a reality. My grandparents traveled to the hotel by train around 1910. Your Studebaker photos will reflect those "Great Gatsby" days. I spent last weekend in Belterra.
Hope to spend a few days soon at French Lick.
Will they have player cards to insert in the slots?

Yes they do have players cards. The lines to get one yesterday were very long. It is an awsome sight. Beautiful beyond compare
