Yeah! It's about time. Thank you Jerry Denbo and everyone else who had the foresight to vote for this! Hopefully it will be put into law...

That's great! If a movie company comes here and spends millions of dollars, and Indiana raises its profile as a good place to make movies, the rebates will be well-spent. And if they don't come, then that rebate money won't be spent. Other states around us, with similar locations, or locations we can compete with, shouldn't get all the gravy.

Well, the adult film industry already has its foot in the door at Ball State.

The first question should be, does Denbo own stock in New Line Cinema or Tri-Star?

Jeff you must not be ready for your close up. Besides there is a lot of money out there to be made if we just give them a break.

Perhaps the state resources would be better used if we had a concerted effort to use "product placement" in select movies and media than focus on attracting film production to Indiana.

We should have a marketing effort to have our state, cities, products, and major events used in blockbuster movies and broadcasts. This would be much more productive and have a much larger return on investment.

Just look at how much positive media exposure we received by having the Indianapolis Colts win the Superbowl. Now that's great product placement!
