THEY should pay the price like any other. To prey on youth and let this go on for not one but three years and all who heard about turn the other way should all be replace.

barry has been stonewalled in that city just as so many others in the past. with parker running everything in that county for sooooo many years, he has given a true meaning to "good ole boys". tehama county is not only been corrupted under his watch, it has been corrupted absolutely!! there are undoubtedly some very fine people working on and for the county, but if you step out of line in mr parkers eyes, you will surely be thrown to the dogs. the judges know it, the politicians know it, the da office knows it and the local newspaper knows it.tehama county is run like a gestappo by petty power brokers whose only interest is their own. for such a beautiful area to be ruined by petty thugs is such a shame. times do change and these people will die-lets hope that the replacements are not some of their spawn....never never ever vote for an incumbent---take some lessons from the new style town hall meetings---get and stay in all pulbic officials faces--ask detailed questions, tho do not expect an honest asnswer. remember that it was the goverment that gave the people "circus maximus" in ancient rome! do not let it happen again.
sorry to get off the subject--but many have been trying to keep this juvenial problem under wraps for too long, and if you beleive that clay parker and his minions knew nothing about this until recently - i have some bridges to sell you

I feel that kids who break the law should be taken to Juvenille Hall maybe until they learn a valuable lesson that committing a crime is wrong. Lisa Weiner.

More of the same in poor little backwards Tehama County. How does one expect to get a fair, reliable and transparent investigation when the investigator is hired by the entity it is investigating? I was involved in one of the investigations undertaken by Diane Davis, who was investigating wrong doing at Tehama County Public Works...for Tehama County Public Works...go figure. She is the go to investigator for both Shasta and Tehama Counties as the results of her investigations are mostly a forgone conclusion...no nasty surprises. One would think that with the seriousness of these present (or past as the case may be) allegations that an INDEPENDENT investigation would have been called for. The Grand Jury has the authority to request the state attorney general investigate these claims.

And these kids you speak of...should they also be abused by employees of this juvenile justice system? I believe that is the subject of these comments.

Sooo, how many "messed up employees" are still employed there? Perhaps an independent investigator would answer that question. That is, if anyone really wants to know the answer.

I would be interested to know the outcome of this investigation. But it appears it may already be getting buried.
