Anyone out there have any info on how to contact an established group or groups that are working in opposition to this development? Contact info for individuals would also be welcome. It would be easier for my friends and I to join a group than start from scratch. Thanks!

The kids need better places and activities to do when they are not in school. The new park is a win win. Why do you want to take away the opportunities for todays kids? True, I miss the Lagoon, but this will be an improvement.

I question that too? Why do you oppose this? The lagoon has been sitting there inoperable for years, gathering duck dung, and has been an eyesore. Right now, my kids and I have to travel to Livermore at the least to go to a water park. I checked out your other posts and seems you like to oppose everything that might change Fremont - you are an oldtimer, but sorry, change is going to happen.
