I was at Ernte Fest this year and it was excellent.

Kevin Davis and his Police staff were very polite and curtious. Any and all problems that aroused where handled swiftly and peacefully. The Officers made everything feel safe. Its a shame the Local Sheriff's Department would not help out, but Kevin Davis and his Officers seem to fill that void. I hope to see the Officers again in 2008 with their same smiles and enthusiasm to keep the peace allowing everyone to have a fun time.

The music and food was also great.

I was at the Ernte Fest again this year and even better than last year.
Once again Kevin Davis and his Police staff were keeping the peace and allowing everyone to have a fun time with friends and family. Without Kevin Davis and the Police staff, I do not think it would feel safe. Lawrence County responded to a drunk guy by the road, but told the Police staff they were told by their bosses they could not come past the ropes onto the grounds. The sad part was the guy was on public property. I wish Lawrence County would step up and help out instead of being worried about DWI checkpoints and not helping the Ernte Fest staff when needed.
Very few incidents this year, but all were handled by the Police and Security staff with ease and professionalism. Gotta Love the work those Police and Security Officers do!
See you all in 09!
