Is it possible to be rehabilitated in jail these days. The jail system is just schooling for gangs, they go in they come out and do it all over again. Much street crime and outside gangs are run by guys in jail. But besides that whole problem I get the sneaking suspicion the reason no one wants to do anything about immigration is that the Free Trade Agreement is leading to a North American Union which means in the not too distant future there will be no borders between Mexico the U.S. and Canada. One Big Happy Country...North
America... Keep your eyes open cause it's gonna happen whether we like it or not!

I live in Baldwin and have for many years, way back it was a beautiful place to live. Now I am surrounded by Roosevelt, Hempstead and Freeport, all high crime areas and now Baldwin is becoming them. Shootings and killings and crime every week. I cannot afford to leave yet, but where am I to go anymore. It is a shame what the low lifes have done to our quality of living (all over). Our government needs to do something.

Please folks, don't slam Freeport with such harsh remarks. Mayor Glacken has paved Guy lombardo Ave with brick pavers for all the illegals to enjoy, who reside in over crowded apartments along this strip of street. Also the crime fighting police chief claims that he has reduced crime by 40% due to his soda and pizza giving program for needy criminal youths. Please go easy on them, they're trying real hard.

You're sure this clown is the brother of the Lynbrook murderer? Where did you read that? If true then he should be in for the beating of his life. But no, it won't change police or political policy. It's up to the citizens to do what status quo hacks refuse to do-extract and eliminate these vermin from our society and not apologize for it. Our survival and sovereignty is on the line.

Within the last two months, I have had two friends of mine that used to live in Baldwin visit me. One used to live up on Mattison. The other used to live down in the harbor on Imperial Drive right before the Park. Neither one had been here since the 90's. Last week, another couple were up here that used to live back a few blocks from the Dairy Barn on Atlantic Ave. They too, had not been here since '96. These friends wanted to go to the Venice Inn on Merrick Road where we all used to hang out. At the time, it was, unfortunately closed. All of my friends were shocked at the way Baldwin has gone down.

As far as Freeport goes, it still has two things that are keeping its head above water. The waterfront and the gringos that have not taken flight. If either of them perishes, Freeport's colonization will completely take over. How sad, I remember Freeport from way back and with its troubles, was still a wonderful village to grow up in.

Make no mistake about it. The same thing that is happening here, is happening all across the country. There will soon be no place left to take flight to.

We are either going to fight for our country, or we are going to lose it to a third world status. That is really the bottom line.

why can't people stick to the issues at hand. there's always some underline racism behind those statements. remember we don't need to be fighting in our own house. there is enough to deal with terrorism, inflation, starvation, unemployment and need i continue?

Uh, yeah!! The most pressing issue in this country is illegal immigration. You can samba around the issue, but it is still there and is being discussed as never before. Apparently, you are dismayed by that, but nonetheless, it is true.

You will not be satisfied in your work place, but give it some time and things will fall into place. Those in the construction business should get some good news. Aquarian homebodies will find things rather hectic and may develop a headache by the end of the day, so you should avoid negative thinking as much as possible.
