no need to have all these highly paid administrators in two little hospitals. All these new graduate nurses that don't know a thing, but will work for $25,000 a year are killing patients. The Buffalo hospitals will only hire experienced nurses because they know these 2 year graduates aren't ready for the real world. The best thing is to stay out of hospitals here

I do also use the Observer to comment on local news/events. The reason why I didn't this time is because sometimes I just want complete anonymity. My username on their website easily gives away my real name. You cannot comment on an article on their site without a (free)account and username. I am nobody of importance in this community but for other reasons I don't want people to know who I am. I just felt like saying my thoughts on a subject and seeing what everyone else is thinking.

They are as much a part of the problem. What has been accomplished to solve the problems or to move toward providing the community with safe care delivered by staff who is provided education?
Look at the accomplishments...not the distractions.

Recently was transferred to Hamot for emergency surgery. Everyone on their staff expressed their condolences for my having been at Brooks. What's that tell you?

check the engagement column from a few weeks ago and see that 2 people from the ER got engaged. Theres a lot of that stuff going on with these young nurses, from empty pt rooms to vans parked in back of the ER. She was with at least 6 different guys when she worked at Lakeshore...um I think they expect you to actually WORK !

Some of the long-time "managers" and long-time "nurses" at Brooks are on witch hunts. A recent example is a 26 year employee was let go by one of Jonathan's new "leaders" as a result of listening to a busy body nurse who is known for her complaining and tattling. Shame on her! The doctors are appalled at the situation and are working on a petition to bring her back.

Oh of course, because they could probably save money by hiring a recent graduate to do the work. I can't believe the hateful people they brought in here to do this dirty work to long time employees. I know who you are talking about , and this is cruel! when is this going to stop? On a brighter note, I heard Lawrence just bought a $600,000 house on the lake recently...hope he has fun packing it to take it wherever he goes!
