Go to a board meeting, work on a committee for next year and raise some money to do it your way.

Maybe if Fredonia would turn off the flood lights over the locked basketball and tennis courts in Russell Joy Park, they would have money for Christmas lights downtown. And yes, a complaint was filed to have the park lights turned off, but was ignored.

WELL WELL WELL IT'S no surprise when you gut a department six positions over the last five years. Plus the aging equipment that never gets fixed the right way or never gets replaced.Whats really amazing is everyone has somthing too say or a better way of doing things. But yet no one goes to a bored meeting and says anything.PEOPLE just complain to the workers or types a bunch of criticism behind a keybored. WAKE up people you're services are being cut right before your eyes.THIS winter should be very interesting!!!!!LOL!!!

Hey ease up, Have no problem paying taxes and don't give a rats ass if they went up IF they were spent properly,(maintaining the streets, leave collection and WATER at the water plant) Tony you would probably make your point a little better if you do not refer to people as morons.

I misunderstood what you you trying too say.I guess I should have clarified my statement better. My point is the village board is micromanaging so much, fredonia is going to be in serious trouble.ALL of the other taxes have one up town, county, school but not Fredonia. So in the mean time all of the other entities raised their taxes to maintain their infrustructure, but not Fredonia.Bottomline is you can't keep putting off the inevitable which is if you keep cutting corners it always comes back to bite you in the arsss.!!!

Rick St. George and Joe Cerrie are probably theonly people capable of holding your village together people, and also be respectable in their positions. If not for them, issues would have been WORSE before now. Look at the top rung on our ladder. It always starts & ends there, with every business/company. Our village is a business. Too bad the decisions aren't being made at the right time by the right people. I agree with "Concerned". Well said. And "Just Saying", some people cannot take a stand. Want to please everyone. People in higer positions need not to worry about being popular. Just do the right thing.

Hello Real Deal...You need to run for the next mayor of the village, if available. If you get elected,we'll see who has "balls" then. Good Luck.
