I was in wingcity tonight, and I have to say our server was very snotty and rude the whole time. I understand it was busy, but really the server could have been friendlier and not rude. I've been there plenty of times and may add some of the girls are great and make my visit very pleasant and other times not pleasant. I always go home stuffed but come on I like going home happy and feeling welcomed, and that I did not. Word of advice friendly service with a smile.

What was her first name, what time was it,or which table were you at? Did you bring this to the attention of the manager on duty or anyone else while in the establishment? That is the proper way to handle it I might add.

I question the validity of this complaint! I know for a fact the owner demands the employees treat customers with respect and dignity! They are instructed to do whatever it takes to keep customers happy. We've been there many times. The Wing City Sampler is a great basket of wings! Another favorite is the Buffalo Wing Soup, especially on a cold day! If someone has a complaint about a business, why don't they contact the manager or owner? Sounds like maybe someone else is selling wings and would like a little of Wing City's business.

"I'll give you a word of advice"? Really? I'll give you a word of advice. Treat others the way you would like to be treated. You'll find it will come back to you. A lot of times people are their worst enemies. Do you think others like people who have a negative and dominant personality? There is enough negativity in the world. Every time you turn on the news, pick up the newspaper, or listen to some of today's so called music artists, you hear negative. If you allow that stuff to become a part of you, then you become what everybody runs away from-gloom, worry and disaster. What is worse, is if you are raising children, they become what you are. It's simple. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you".

You just answered your own question. Steve Carlson (old owner) does not own the chain. His son, Andrew Carlson (new owner) owns the chain. You are correct. The old owner is serving time. The new owner is very professional, runs a tight ship, and runs the chain very well. He is soon going to open location #5 and plans on taking this chain long and far. I would not doubt if they over the years take it across the U.S. Look at 5 Guys Burgers and Fries! That chain started with a location in Northern VA.or DC, and had gone across the U.S. in a relatively short period of time! Andrew has the talent, ambition and know how. He is also young enough to do it.

Nope you just answered your own question. I know the Carlson family and Steve(the father in prison) signed the restaurant over to his son Andrew because of fines and such levied by the federal government. Steve will be out in 3 years its not like he is doing life in prison. I do agree FOR NOW its Andrew's restaurant but not when his dad gets out. You may think you know everything, but you don't know nothing on this subject. You know Andrew on a professional level. I know the family on a personal level. So just quit while you are ahead.

Idiots. Is is really so inconceivable that a server could have been rude? Oh yeah I forgot the owner stands joined at the servers hip "demanding" the server be friendly. Just because some people have never had a bad experience with an unfriendly server doesn't mean they don't exsist. Perhaps the server was having a bad day. We don't know if something terrible happened to them that day. Maybe a loved one is dying, a child is sick, they got evicted... Who knows. Is that an excusable reason to be rude? No but let the tip reflect that then or see the manager. But as far as people saying that they doubt the validity of the statement because the owner demands them be a certain way? That's just completely ridiculous. I have never been to this restaurant but I assume the owner isn't there all the time, if ever

Agreed. Owners are not there to enforce employees behavior 24/7. People have bad days. That is why they work for their tips. So don't leave one then.

I know the background you are speaking of. I deal with corporate entities, tax I.D.'s, who is who. With that in mind, Andrew is the top of the chain in this organization and he is doing a great job. Over the years I have seen a lot of business owners-some great, some don't have a clue. Usually, the ones that are great, are much older than Andrew. Andrew has the potential to take Wing City nationwide. Look at Buffalo Wild Wings! How about Five Guys Burgers and Fries? Wing City offers better food and service than both of those chains, at a more affordable price. They have already opened up other locations and know how to duplicate. Go into the Lakewood location. A copy of the one in Fredonia.

We ate at 5 guys on Peach St in Erie. 2 burgers, 2 fries, drinks. The tab was $22.00, and it was all served in a paper bag! No plates at 5 guys. Applebees, Wing City, TGI Fridays, etc easily come up with a better burger for less money, and serve it on a plate! Wing City Sampler-compare the price and quality of their wings compared to Buffalo Wild wings. Remember-Wing City Sampler has 15 wings in it. Also, when was the last time yo were in Buffalo Wild Wings? We were in the one by Mckinley Mall. Noise level so loud we couldn't have a conversation. At least at Wing City, we can get a booth, enjoy a beer, and talk,
