Should Fredonia Go Smoke Free?

Just like the city regulations that they try to say are in effect, but wont do anything about the serious ones. They want to have all the yards mowed to a certain height or mow it and charge you, that way they can get extra money. They continue to say that there are dog and cat leash laws in this town, but there are so many cats in this town running loose, it wont be long and this town will be overrun by feral cats. But do you see the city doing anything about it, again, they dont want to piss any old ladies off, they want to be everyones friend!!!!

Ok, You nonsmokers......I will quit smoking anywhere in town and around you, IF YOU PROMISE ME THAT YOU WILL NOT START AND DRIVE YOUR CARS, TRUCKS, USE CHAINSAWS, LAWNMOWERS, ETC. Because I can smell the choking exhaust from these and other machines and it pollutes my air around me like you say my smoking chokes your air around you. Do WE HAVE A DEAL? I THOUGHT SO!

I have yet to see any cars,trucks,chainsaws, lawnmowers, etc. either started and running let alone being drove around in a restuarant or any other eating or drinking establishment!!!!!!!!!

It seems to sound like you might not get out of town much. You sound as though you have not visited any airports, been to walmart during midnight hours or been any place where thier are uses of Fork lifts running on propane inside buildings, eaten at restraunts in airports while switching planes and the use of Floor Burnishers that run by propane. You probably never eaten at a fast food where the drive up window has dozens of cars waiting by the open windows to smell of a few buring gasoline cars coming in the small window. So you never have sit in a walmart, or rather a mall in a fast food restraunt where the use of non-electric vs gas has ever been used at some point or another in your life? My guess is you don't travel and find these things are used today and near in restraunts. Try sitting in a closed building with a car running or small equipment is running and tell me what you smell. That is more harmful that ciggarette smoke can be. It can kill you quicker that a dozen ciggaretts.

If you don't like people smoking in a bar or whatever, go somewhere that has no smoking and spend your money there. Stop trying to legislate my life.

I am a smoker, I don't smoke in my own house, i don't smoke in my vehicle when my family is with me... and I hate going out to eat, and smelling smoke. I want to smell the food... If I get the urge to smoke, I go outside, even in restaurants that allow smoking. I wont attribute to a smell that could ruin someones evening out. It doesn't hurt a bit to take a small 5 min walk and burn one. Just in case you are wondering, I smoke a pack a day, for the last 15 years, and still am. My wife doesn't smoke, my kids don't smoke. Why should they have to tolerate my smoke?

If I knew where your business was I wouldn't give you my money... WE, the people who come to your establishment ARE YOUR BUSINESS. If we quit, there would be a hole in the wall and another building to tear down...
hey while you are at it why don't you spray perfume on people as they are eating, and fart in their general direction? To some people its the same thing.(and its Adolph btw). There are few places I will NOT go to eat and Ill bet yours is one of them because I have been in kitchens of restaurants and they are nasty...
and as for calling someone a commie... god... some people are so ignorant to speak and have no clue what they say really means huh? "Government control is what being a commie means... rawr rawr blah blah" Look it up... Ever talked to someone from Russia? The OLD Russia? There weren't starving people, people got healthcare... people had homes... If you were willing to work, you never were without a job... Just seen an article that apple computer is declaring second hand smoke a bio-hazard and will not repair any of their products contaminated by cigarette smoke
