Not really surprising. There are a lot of con artists out there. Why? There are a lot of gullible people out there. Sometimes things aren't always what they seem. Either way, it's all sad.

Give her the whole 7 years. She is just a con artist.

There are some deeper issues with this woman. Mrs. Booth only tried to help and this was very sweet and nieve of her. People should always seek ways to only assist with community resources and not from their own pockets,
Mrs. Booth's heart was in the right place, she should have referred her to a social worker or counselor to give her assistance.

How many people are going around pulling similar stunts to get government aid? I've literally seen people pay with food stamps at the grocery store, then put them into a brand new Mercedes-Benz. Sadly this kind of thing happens a lot.

The biggest problem with people these days is laziness, plain and simple. Sob stories, the economy and all that BS, is just that, BS. If you want a job, McDonald's is always hiring. I am not trying to say times are hard, but that just means you have to work even harder. I hate thieves and that is all this woman is.

I just dont understand people now days, its situations like this that make me a little cautious. I am a very giving and understanding person and I try to give people a chance but with things like this it makes me not want to trust anyone.

This makes it hard on those that are really in need. A woman or man on the street that is hungry needs help. I would never let anyone starve that was hungry. What goes around comes around. God forbid but if I was ever in a situation where I went hungry or needed some warm clothes and had no transportation that some good-hearted person would help me. You don't have to give cash in order to help someone.

I saw this woman on a dateline special a few years back for faking pregnancies and luring hopeful couples into thinking they would be adopting her unborn child. I hope she goes to jail for a long while.

are you sure this is'nt the same woman in Powell who just got arrested for selling heroin ? this sure sounds like something she would do if she has'nt done it already. I would say it was the same person if it was'nt for the fact she was in knox county.

It's not always that easy. Ever innocently ask a fat woman when she's due? Yeah, awkward.

I avoid that question like the plague. Age and weight are other off limit topics to avoid. Those fat chicks can be mean. It's not our fault they're overweight and no one can tell the difference.
