Read Daniel 10:1 through 12:13
Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them (Daniel 10:12).
One of the mysteries of prayer concerns the fact we live within the boundaries of time. God, to whom we pray, lives outside time in the eternal present. So, His timing might not always synchronize with ours.
Interestingly, God sometimes answers before we call or while we are speaking. At other times, according to His divine purpose, prayers may seem to go unanswered.
How then do you cope with seemingly unanswered prayers? One way is to never give up. When you put your trust in God, you also have to trust His timing.
When answers donít come within the time frame you had hoped, you can be assured that God has heard your prayer and is working out some higher good. Godís eternal purposes are beyond human understanding.
Remember, itís never too early and never too late to pray.
Thought for Today: Prayer is a privilege. It allows us to participate with God in working all things together for our good.
