Constitution Party Candidate for Missouri Lt. Governor, Cynthia Davis, was interviewed by Christian radio owner/host, Dick Bott. They discussed her historic endorsement of a non-major party candidate by Missouri Right to Life.

Cynthia Davis is, hands down, the best candidate in the race. Please invest your money, your efforts, and your vote in her campaign. She has proven time and again she is everything she says she is on the campaign trail. That is a rarity in American politics, and we cannot afford to have someone of her caliber losing in November.

Is your wallet feeling the sting of the rising gasoline prices? Mine sure is! Do you wonder why and what is causing it? We heard predictions at the beginning of this year that gasoline would set records for high prices this year which seemed pretty odd to me. However, several companies had already made known their plans to reduce the gasoline refining capacity in the East Coast region by 50% because those aging facilities were unprofitable. No matter what the product is, if you reduce capacity by 50% then it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to predict a rise in prices... http://constitutionparty.com/news.php...

President Barack Obama and presidential hopeful Mitt Romney are in the public eye almost every day, telling Americans about their plans to guide the country should they win the 2012 presidential race. Ironically, given such constant coverage, most Americans would probably be hard pressed to factually state what positions the candidates hold concerning fiscal issues, foreign policy, civil liberties, and social issues, especially to a depth great enough to compare and contrast the candidates or understand the long-term ramifications of their policies... http://constitutionparty.com/news.php...

The national Republican Party has made a series of decisions this week that has lead to a renewed call for the establishment of a viable third party. Constitutional Conservatives, Conservative Populists, and Libertarians are frustrated by how they are being shut out of the political process at the national level. The momentum is building for Cynthia Davis. Davis is the former Republican who fought big government within the Republican ranks. Knowing the Republicans weren’t going to give up their love of big government, Davis left the party and joined the Constitution Party. She is now running against the scandal ridden incumbent Peter Kinder, who got into trouble and lost his chance to become Missouri’s next governor when allegations came out he was stalking a St. Louis stripper.
Missouri Grassroots Coalition has this to say about Davis:

Cynthia Davis is lately being recognized as not only the leading “third party” alternative in November’s election, but as the one who actually is viable; who has a good chance of winning.

I know you won’t find someone pounding the pavement harder and spreading their message this fall than Cynthia Davis. She is someone who is truly fed up with big government. FavStocks.com - Missouri Grassroots Coalition Calls Cynthia Davis a Viable Third Party Candidate

Free & Equal Announces Presidential Debate

A Truly Open Forum for All Candidates

CHICAGO, IL - Free & Equal Elections Foundation announced their hosting of the 2012 Presidential Debate today. The debate will be held at 8:00pm CST at University Club of Chicago in Chicago on Tuesday, October 23rd.

Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson, Constitution Party candidate Virgil Goode Green Party candidate Jill Stein and Justice Party candidate Rocky Anderson have confirmed their participation. Incumbent and Democratic Party candidate Barack Obama and Republican Party candidate Mitt Romney have been invited to participate in this important debate.

Free & Equal Elections Foundation gained national attention in 2008, when it hosted the only Presidential debate in the country in which every candidate whom had ballot access in enough states to become President was invited. Both Ralph Nader and Chuck Baldwin participated in 2008, and Free & Equal is seeking to increase that number for the 2012 election. The debate made history, being the first and only all-inclusive, nationally televised debate on C-SPAN2.

To have received an invitation to the Presidential debate on October 23rd, a candidate must meet one of two requirements. Either they must be on the ballot in enough states to be viably electable, or they must receive 1% or greater in a national poll.

Free & Equal will announce the debate moderator and live web feed access prior to the debate.

The Free & Equal debate will feature a large group of sponsors including the Josh Tolley Radio Show, Restore the Republic, Ballot Access News, Re-Tea Party, Free the Vote NC, We The People, and Blue Republicans. Additional sponsors will be announced soon.

All families have occasional clashes, but there are few scenes more awful than hearing a couple having a fight in the parking lot of a public venue. Something inside all of us wishes they would wait until they get home and close the doors. The same should be said for the Republican Party. Mitt Romney, Roy Blunt, Vicki Hartzler and many other prominent Republicans publicly called on Todd Akin to get out of the race. The most civil and respectful behavior would be to pick up the phone and talk in private. Todd could issue a public statement asking them to get out of their races when they make puzzling comments, but he doesn't. Additionally, I cannot recall when I have ever heard of Democrats asking their candidates to resign or step aside.

Every campaign has its "teachable moments". The Todd Akin story will go down in history as one of the case studies for years to come. I attended a rally for him to hear his explanation first hand and because we should all stand against bullying:

Until the Todd Akin firestorm, I may have held the record for being the most abused Republican. While the most left wing national network commentators were mocking me for standing up for Republican principles, those on the right were silent, hiding or fleeing out of fear that this persecution might bounce off onto them. While I don't wish this on anyone, since we are in good company, here are a few observations:

1.) History is filled with elected officials who are unprincipled scoundrels. Some of them were my opponents. We should have moral outrage over this. Yet, we should all behave in an honorable manner, regardless of whether you like a candidate's personality or not. Also, it still is up to the voters to take the responsibility of discerning who is more on the side of the taxpayers, limited government and liberty vs. who is against us.

2.) Accumulating money and power is the primary motivator for the party bosses in both the Republican and Democratic parties. Once you understand this, it makes sense why the principles become irrelevant.

3.) Our country was founded at a time when there were no political parties. People ran on their own reputations and they did it without TV, radio or Internet. Now that we live in an age of electronic communications, it is easier to fabricate frauds, but it's also easier to detect them as well.

4.) A candidate's personal life is a factor. The only way to save our state and nation is for us to return to the high standard of moral and ethical behavior that made us great at the time of our nation's conception. When selecting the candidate you resonate with best, it will help you to take into account how that candidate lives according to "The 10 Commandments". It is important to evaluate our candidates based upon both private behavior and positions on issues.

5.) If everyone who votes for Todd Akin also votes for me, we will win! While Todd and I are not identical on every issue, those staying on board with Todd owe it to their political philosophy to also support our campaign for the same reasons. While Todd has taken in millions for his campaign, we are producing amazing results with a bare bones budget.

As your next Lieutenant Governor, you will have someone in office who is willing to "Call Their Bluff".

I was driving through a neighborhood and saw what appeared to be a replica of a human figure hanging. The hardest part about the Halloween season is that it flaunts our cultural obsession with evil. Some of this may be designed to desensitize us to the negatives associated with evil. A common expression is to vote for "the lesser of two evils" or "better to have the devil we know than the devil we don't know". My question is: "Why vote for evil or the devil?" We can do better than this.

While eating dinner, my 22 year old son asked me why some people think they are throwing away their vote if they give it to someone other than the presumed winner. He said, "People throw their vote away if they vote for the one more likely to win because that vote isn't necessary. If you really want to make your vote count, vote for the one who best reflects your values, because that is where you will make the biggest difference. Anything less would be disingenuous and would be throwing your vote away."

Why can you safely handle choosing from 100 different kinds of cereal, but the power brokers (and some friends) are forcing us to think we only can handle two choices for Lt. Governor? If you need help and don't want to do your own research, there are organizations who can do it for you.
