Prosecutor, cops, mom, and kid say, "Oops our bad"… accused says, "Can I have my reputation back please?"

The word for today kids is OVERZEALOUS.

It’s a dangerous world out there, even for innocent people.

Good thing we didn't listen to the hundreds of blogs in the local paper that called for his execution. Why do bloggers believe everything in the news?

well the police did the right thing by holding him untill they know for sure he didnt do anything wrong. I feel bad for the man having to go threw this but it sometimes happens. Im sure this man is a good man and maybe understand why this happened. Im just glad the police got this taking care of before he went to jail for 20 years! I think putting his face on here is a good thing because it shows the viewers that he is a good man not a felon

Sounds familiar in Spotsylvania County. Remember the false arrest in Lisk/Silva case several years ago? Was the "victim's" identification a product of the county's "overzealous" deputies/investigators? I find it interesting the child was able to id (through a line-up) the "true perp" almost 2 wks later. Just a thought!
