Ok she was deff not anywhere near a coma as I saw the victim recently after the fight. While this still gave them no right to beat her up, she changed her story several times in court of what really happened, more or less, this was a fight between 2 loudmouth female teenagers and they both should have equally been punished because the one involved herself by informing of the others drug use

since when is informing others of someone's drug use grounds for punishment? last time i checked, drugs were illegal..snitching wasn't. It's high school..it happens. only in madison would someone take it this far. grow up, fighting isn't cool and doesn't make you look tough. it's childish, immature, and trashy.

since the beginning of time, the trashy antics of others have been enjoyed as entainment....if they stop all this, what will the chattering classes have to do?

Incorrect. lol. This couldn't be further from the truth. Instead of posting publicly what you hear from your teenage daughter, you should encourage your daughter to stop spreading rumors and mind her own business. Gossiping online like this...hmm, and we wonder where the kids get it from.

since i live in greene we have our own fair share of trashy situations and it makes me sad that people like this become the staple of my town and madison's as well...when there have been some really great people to come from both places. it's selfish really, to ruin the name of a town that raised you and others because someone "pissed you off" and "snitched." maybe if you weren't doing illegal activities no one would have snitched..and this isn't a perfect world; people are going to make you mad. i just wish people would learn to handle it with class.

It is trashy and unacceptable, but at the same time before the incident, they were more than aquaintences and something like acting on anger such as informing the school of the others drug use, bragging of it throughout the week, then leading to the actual incident... We see who actually started all this.

i'm sure there was immaturity on both sides; i don't doubt that at all. i just don't believe fighting is ever the answer to this stuff. like i said..it's high school..you're surrounded by immature people starving for attention who will do whatever it takes to get it. but sometimes you have to hold your head high and be the better person. easier said than done, i understand.

I am a student at madison highschool myself. I Know both of the girls. I agree that violence is never the answer, but i also Know that someone would not beat another person up that severely without a big reason. I Know that all of this could have Been prevented if consequences had Been distributed to BOTH girls a long time ago. In my opinion, both girls did wrong here, one of u just took it too far.

So, interestingly enough, I am also a student at MCHS. Not only am I severely ashamed to be associated with the school due to it's constant screwed up priorities (as far as budget, social climate, most authority, and community hierarchy), I am saddened that this get's any sort of attention. I have been bullied every single year I've attended this school, one way or another. I have seen people be bullied by these girls, and have received verbal abuse from one of the two as well. One of the previous comments was correct in saying that the administration, while appears to take bullying very seriously, doesn't.

The attention that this event has received has just caused the "victim" to inflate her own ego, and milk it as much as humanly possible. Though I've heard several versions of the story, and STILL do not know what to believe- I think there is one important thing to realize. Nobody was right here, and neither have learned their lesson. It's a sad waste of potential on both parties to have this happened. Though I've only had bad experiences with each girl, I'm sure they have the capacity to make themselves more decent human beings. The attention should not be focused on that the fight happened, it should be a reflection on the sad and disgusting social climate that kids and teens are now growing up in. Nobody seems to realize that there are much bigger issues going on in the world. These small town feuds are going to, and have, ruined families and futures. Though a home can take blame in a person's developing character- there are enough real-world examples of people who have risen above them to do great things.

I still think they both have a long way to go... but you know? I know they can do it. I feel bad for never having tried to reach out to either, because of my personal feelings towards them. Their future is obviously in their own hands at this point. And no matter what, they have the capacity to become good people. I hope this is a learning experience for the both of them, as well as my schoolmates and all involved. Violence is never the awnser, and there are bigger and scarier things to focus on.

Administration should be ashamed for not having handled problems like this in a more efficient and forceful fashion. Bullying and abuse are problems at this school, and while they claim to have a "zero-tolerance" rule, they may as well follow the UN's guidelines for classifying genocide. They don't think anything is bullying. And when they do, there is a humiliating process for the victim to go through to receive any sort of justice. Often leaving the abuser in a position to follow through with "snitches get stitches" phrase.

I'm tired of all the nonsense, and I'm disturbed by all parties in this affair- however it's sadly not surprising, and even more all too-common.

These comments are hilarious to me. I just wanna say they will be friends again. As soon as "she" gets out of jail they will be back together. Its been like that ever since "she" moved here. I have no problem with either of these girls. They have always respected me but i have seen both be cruel to other students. Honestly they were partners in crime. No one knows the true story. Its always gonna be their stories and the truth. It has happened like this between them before but it just hasnt gotten this far. You cant mix bad with bad. This is just my opinion like everyone elses on here.

I think that it's nuts all this he said she said crap... In my eyes I think if the girl that put her hands on her first and caused that much damage she needs to be taught that violence is not the answer... Who knows who else she could of done this to... It's not in anybody else's hands but the judge so people stop fighting over the past and move on its a reason it's called the past...,,,

I'd beat the crap out of the girl that's in jail she's had a problem with everyone . She has no respect and she had no right to beat someone over snitching, they were best friends but you don't kno how fast that girl can change . She ran her mouth and expected everyone to cater to her , the victim mightve been in the wrong because she snitched , but NOBODY should get jumped over something so simple. If the girl wasn't on probation and getting piss tested don't you think she shouldve known better to do any drugs anyways? Plain and simple the victim didn't deserve it and karma is one hell of a b****.

Oh ok this is probley carley shut your face because you have doged the victim to. And as a matter of fact the victim us to call you all kinds of names. The problem with Madison is there are a lot of two face girl. And you and the victim is. One thing everybody should learn from this is the victim is a pathic person and she would say anything for attention and one day she will grow to see the world dont revolve around trash.

I cannot thank you enough for your comment. You, by far, are the most mature person to make a comment on this story from MCHS!!! I agree with you 100%. I hope you have big plans in life, because you are going to go far!! Good luck to you.
