Boyertown teacher convicted of having child porn

A former Fountain Hill man who teaches at Boyertown Area School District was convicted in Berks County Court today for possessing videos of children engaged in sex acts.

I cannot believe someone would actually get off on seeing children in a sexual way. What is with people? You have to wonder if something happened to these freaks as kids. It's still no excuse. People are sick.

Guilty for videos, but not guilty for having still photos????WTF. What is the difference, he had kiddie porn on a computer he was bringing into the school. Our system is very flawed when it comes to the courts protecting children. This guy will get off with probation and a slap on the wrist. What a joke.

Now, as far as this perv; I think anyone who uses children for such things, whether they do the actual filming/photographing, molest kids, download, read, or buy the materials, should be taken out and shot. I don't know what they get out of looking at or doing such stuff and I don't care. Don't want to hear about their bad childhoods or how voices in their heads make 'em do it. Unless they've been brought up back in the woods or on a desert island, we all know that this stuff is WRONG. And it's really disgusting that a teacher is guilty of looking at the porn; but then, a lot of kiddy pervs take jobs which specifically bring them into contact with kids. Horrible.

The thing I find about of your comments, is that you all don't know the truth about the whole story. First of all, he was on a network internet connection at the school, and ANYONE could have put those files on his computer. Second, I can't see where ANY of you can comment on this case without knowing all the facts, except what you read in the newspaper. We all know that newspapers sensationalize crimes like this. You need to know the FACTS before you pass judgement.
