Disrespecting Coaches

Buffalo, NY

#1 Sep 27, 2010
It's unfortunate when people in the community stoop to putting signs up that demean the high school football coaches, coaches who serve our kids and who dedicate their time to our school. It's one thing to have discussions and express opinions but it's quite another to put up signs. Remember, they have kids too.
If anyone thinks that different coaches would've made a difference in the Randolph game, they're nuts. And, anyone who saw the game could see our team was courageous, unrelenting, and well coached. It's funny, these very same people have Buffalo Bills flags and signs in their yards as though the Bills deserve more respect than their own communities. It's quite sad there are so many athletic kids in Franklinville who don't participate because their parents are ignorant and because they're afraid to lose. Too bad we have so many parents unwilling to teach their kids that winning is nothing compared to participating and showing the courage it takes to do so. After all as Bills fans, they should know that already.
