Chuck. im sorry but you need to get out more. my guess is if they dont change their recipes they will be out of business in 6 months. i know many agree with me because they went from super busy to dead quiet within a week of being open. thanks for blowing our dreams of finally having a desent pizzeria

"me to" it is obvious that you have something against these people and have nothing better to do than play on your computer. the food is fine. have they had mistakes? yes, but show me one new business that hasn't. i would challange you to try it again. they have changed their sub rolls and are much better. the pizza is excellent. and if you would notice, they are still staying rather busy. everyone i have talked to likes it. so grow up and get a life

I know they changed their rolls because they have a big sign in the window saying we have new sub rolls. That is something a sucessful pizza joint shouldn't have to advertise. It clearly shows their begging for people to come back. The funny thing is that it wasn't the rolls I disliked the most. It was their choice in mayo and paper thin meat. There is no pizazz to them. I can go to sure fine n make a sub identical to theirs. Whoever made the pizza sauce needs to find a new recipe. It's bland. Again no pizazz. Just because their friends tell them it's good doesn't mean it's good. They r telling them what they want to hear or they have no taste buds. I wish the best for the owners but I know alot of people who said they won't go back.

that is where you are dead wrong...a good business listen to their customers and makes changes to please the consumer. i have visited many times and seem to see repeat customers quite often.
the pizza sauce is excellent. and many say so.

Mike: u must either be the owner or a friend of the owner because u seem 2 b taking this very personally. Yes good places listen to their customers n change things up but they don't write it on a piece of paper n hang it on the window. It shows despiration. I see the same cars there every day so there regs are probably friends of the kids who work there. Dont matter anyway. U can play that place up 2 b a hit all u want. What counts r the facts. N its a fact that the people I have talked 2 hate there food. The best compliment I heard from 1 person was that the food wasnt 2 bad but they would rather eat at Gates.chuck: IMO riches has the best subs in town. No 1 in town makes a pizza thats any good. Ur best bet is to hit arcade or Olean.

Their food left me wondering where's the meat? where's my onions and lettuce? where's the pepperoni? We ordered 2 subs and a small pizza a few weeks ago. The rolls were good but unfortunately there was very little meat and veggies on it. I had to open my sub to see if there was anything in my roll.(wasn't enough on there to show out the sides) The pizza wasn't bad but again very little cheese and pepperoni.I understand they are just starting out but you can't tell me that the owner would be happy if he received that kind of food someplace. Besides the food the place looks pretty good, clean and very friendly staff but that's not going to fill peoples bellies.

We ordered a CHICKEN WING PIZZA last night - it was EXCELLENT! Great toppings and the crust was perfect! I highly recommend WARES - not sure what the previous complaints are about, but some people are never happy unless they are finding fault with someone else.

Oh, by the way, I used to own a successful Italian restaurant in Connecticut and we made pizza ... so perhaps my opinion carries some weight.

Keep up the good work WARES - nice people, good food, reasonable prices - those are the keys to success! May God bless you all.

In my opinion, I give their wings almost a perfect score of 9.5 and I'm picky. To get a perfect 10 you would have to try LaNova's barbecue wings in Buffalo. There pizza is now an 8.5 Adding more cheese later on brought them up a few points. Definitely not bad. Again if you're looking for something nearer to perfection Anchor Bar in Buffalo makes the best white pizza known to man. Of course very few in this small town would be willing to pay the higher cost top grade cheese. I would give their subs about a 6. They still need a little improvement in that area. As a comparison I give Subway a 5, but if they ever pattern their subs after Wegmans or D'angelos, they will have a real winner.

We went there a few times when it first opened. I feel to best describe it I will have to break it down to those 3 different visits.

Trip 1.
We ordered a sheet and wings. The pizza was ok, I liked there sauce....not overly spiced very "fresh tomato" taste the edges were kinda burned and the sauce and topping stopped way short of the edge, leaving twice as much "crust edge" as desirable. But it was good and we didn't complain. The wings were good also. No complaints with them. My biggest complaint was even after calling to place my order and being told it was "an hour wait" I still had to wait over 15 minutes for my order when I arrived because it wasn't finished. I'm not one to hold a grudge, we went back.

Trip 2
two subs and a chicken salad.
I didn't personally have any subs from here....my family though determined they did not like them and did not want to continue ordering subs from them. I ordered the chicken salad which was very good, fresh greens not that $.99 dole bag mix that Zeno's was handing out in the end. They neglected to give me my salad dressing and I hadn't realized it until I got home. semi-annoying but I have salad dressing in my fridge. No harm done. Again the huge kicker was the long wait after showing up when you thought your order was going to be ready.

trip 3.
another pizza.
This pizza was not good. Almost no cheese/sauce, burnt on edges but doughy in the middle. Maybe they had an issue with the oven that day who knows, but we have not been back and we are not the only ones in town I have heard say this. I am not trying to be mean or have unrealistic expectations. We tried it 3 times and to be honest it's not anything special. the subs and pizza could easily be created(possibly even better) in my own kitchen. We again waited an extended amount of time.

I've never had the subs from Rich's maybe because a lack of an actual kitchen and the addition of a very busy very greasy car garage doesn't scream "good food" to me(sorry if I'm being prejudice) Shur Fine's subs are edible and cheap gates creek subs are hit and miss and the pizza is better than chain pizza stores but nowhere near a renna's pizza. The fact of the matter is, there really isn't a good place in town for pizza/subs. Porky's had phenomonal food but the wait was horribly painful and they only lasted 1 year. Someday somebody will get it right and have the staying power because this town really needs a good pizza joint.

Well I decided to give them another try 2 weeks ago. Subs still need alot of work. I ordered a half turkey and an assorted and was very disappointed again. No meat(2 slices on half a turkey???? really???), no mayo detected(ordered extra mayo). I will just go to the gas station down the road when we're in a hurry. Is it to much to ask for some meat on a sub??????
