Pain Clinics

I am looking for a pain clinic in Franklin or Columbia Tennessee where I can get in quickly. I work 60 to 70 hours a week and have very little free time, so I am looking for somewhere that does not need a physician's referral or faxed info...I just don't have the time for that and I am in very bad pain and need to get my pain medications as soon as I can. Can someone please help me? Thanks so much. Marie.

Actually no, I am not, "sadie." I was asking a legitamite question due to all the SCAM pain clinics where I live. I am from California and have never seen so many people so paranoid in my life, which is funny since I am from L.A.....you would think it would be worse out there, but it is not. I wound up going to the emergency room in Nashville where they found my MRIs and took an x-ray of my back and could SEE how bad my back really is. I have spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, bulging discs, neuropathy and arthritis. All it took was an x-ray to see that I am indeed NOT a "drug seeker," but truly in extensive pain. Every "pain management" clinic I have called is either booked up for the next 3 weeks or will see me if I give CASH up front because they do not accept insurance (which to me, says they are NOT legit) so I came here trying to see if anyone who suffers from chronic pain could help. It is beyond belief that you people have come out and attacked me like you have. What kind of world are we living in and who do you think you are to judge me? If I asked something that was perceived as being "wrong," why didn't you just NICELY say that if I asked that kind of question, people would get the wrong idea? Would that have been so hard? If you walked a day in my shoes you would understand...but you don't even try to. My question was simple and I see nothing wrong with it. I am NOT familiar with the way things work out here. Like I said, I am from California and I am used to going to ONE doctor for all my medical needs and prescriptions. I have found out that this is not the way it works out here, so I was asking for advice. Why don't you try to be kind and caring instead of so cold hearted. Trust me, you will feel a lot better about yourself if you show some kindness when someone needs help, instead of being mean and uncaring. I hope this gets through to you and you become nicer people. One of my favorite quotes is "Be nicer than usual, because everyone is fighting some sort of battle." Try that sometime.

There is a place in M'boro but they will withdraw you because that is what they all do. No more drugs unless you have the bona-fades to prove your major affliction. If your a real patient that needs narcotics then your ok, but if your doctor shopping they will cut you down by half the first visit. If you don't go back they put you into this private data base that only the doctors can look at. Drug control has gone private. the Doctors will never admit to it's existence, probably even in court.
The days of going to any clinic are over! It is a shame that the junkies have wrecked it for the actual legitimate pain sufferers.
The withdrawl clinic is the one where the junkie drove his truck through the front door. Happy detox.

Where did you find this reliable dr.? I just moved in the area from Colorado and have chronic pain. Just curious and glad you found a good dr.

i tell you what you sit there all high and mighty calling this place hillbilly and people junkies i dang sure hope you have to live every day of your life in the most horriable pain like i live in, it would sere you well then you wouldnt sit and judge on people who really need help people like you make me sick!!!!!!!!
