Metra train kills pedestrian near Franklin Park

i was on the train.

I dont know what that comment is talking about with handguns; there were no shoots fired.

It was in the middle of nowhere, between 2 stops and in an area that is blocked off by fencing and barbed wire.

We sat forever until metra finally let the train that was traveling behind us pull p beside us and we transfered over.

I was talking to gentleman who is friends with some safety commissioner at metra eho told me that when this happens, the train doesn't move for hours while they are looking for body parts.

If you live in Franklin Park and are hit by a train you are just plain STUPID! Think about it can a body stop a train? Can a car stop a train? Can people not walk in front of trains? Can cars not drive in front of trains? Well then. Like I said STUPID!

It's not as if a train hunts you down in the middle of the night while you're sleeping in bed. Almost all people killed by trains knowingly hung out on a track to be killed or to play chicken.

Yeah, I feel sorry for the engineers who have to be the messenger of death to those weak minded individuals who won't kill themselves by themselves or won't get it through their thick skulls that being on train tracks is risky. I mean, duh. Sometimes they want the publicity of their death to make a mark on someone else to make them feel guilty, and that is why they are dying in such a public way.

it might be wrong ,but its true.put a cow catcher on the front,it knocks them off to the side,no body parts all over the bottom side of the train to clean up
