Anyone who has been to a Hooters can see that it is a family place. The ladies are dressed no different than if you go to a place to eat at the shore. The friendly waitresses are a relief to the people at other places. The food is wonderful. Who would object? Burger King because the Franklin one doesn't do as much business as Vernon's and they don't want the competition? polititions who want to make it look like they are doing something for us but, once they get a "donation" to a charty, will turn around and say that they helped the town by bringing Hooters here? I welcome Hooters. They have a higher class group of customers than Burger King.

I passed this on a ride up Route 23 yesterday. I look forward to it opening and will be sure to stop in during football season.

You guys are all the same. Maybe if you paid more attention to your girlfriends and/or wives there would be less people getting divorces. Let your wife make you wings. They sell them at Walmart and they are pretty good. And they all say "i go for the wings", yeah right! Do you think we are stupid?
What if the tables were turned? Ok if we go out for wings if it's guys struting around in next to nothing?

Family Place? Don't you think it would influence young girls to start dressing like that? I sure wouldn't want my daughters wanting to dress like that. It may attract the wrong kind of guys. Like You! Is that what you would want for you daughters if you have any?

Have you seen what girls are wearing these days? I don't think Hooters will influence their choice. Hooters girls are actually weating more clothes than most of todays teens.

I do go for the wings. If the food sucked I would not go. My wife goes with me to Hooters, she loves the food too.
And if the service is good and the food is good (preferably cheap too), I don't care who is serving it or what they are wearing.

Betty should go in during a Sunday football game, she'd see that more people are watching the TVs than the girls. And maybe some self confidence would help her too, sounds like she is a little scared if her husband sees a Hooter's girl he'd divorce her.

You people are ridiculous... the food there is awesome, and if you object to your boyfriends and husbands going there because they're looking at other women's bodies, maybe you should be analyzing your own relationship instead of where your guy is going out for wings.

Try walking around your local mall during the summer, and check out the cloths the kids are wearing. Or try signing onto myspace and looking for your kids myspace page, and see how many 14 year olds are taking pictures in their underwear! If you don't like how the waitress's dress then don't go!

The new Hooters in franklin is opening its doors on monday nov. sixth! After a long wait we will finaly get our hooters! I think it is something we should be proud of and support! They do alot for the community, whether its donations for tricky trays or sponsoring local yourh teams and also because 70 percent of there employees are women they do a ton of fundraising and charity work for breast cancer and lets not forget how important that is! I think we should all give them a try and see for ourselves and make our own opinions! I cant wait!

Some people are downright ridiculous. Hooters is a family restaurant. Why don't you stop blaming the way your child acts because of a place where they bought wings once. Get a hold of yourselves. Stop blaming other people for your ignorant mistakes.

And now, on a happier note...

I <3 Hooters and im so glad they're finally opening.

Ladies, ladies, I have a solution! Open a place across the street called "Peckers"! I can almost hear the advertisements now: "Ladies, bring your hooters over and fill up on our meaty pecker specials." "Tequila, dancing and stuffed clams; Sure to leave a smile on your face!" Well, I gave you the idea now rise up to the occasion. Entrepreneurship is alive and kicking in Vernon. Oh and by the way I would mind my wife's breast being called "Hooters". Those beautiful bad boys are worthy of the term Melons!

John, LOL!!!! That's pretty much what I was thinking. What about "Big Dicks"?

Hey Bill, guess you don't have much respect for women, do you? If you did, you'd never approve of such terms. Hey -- maybe one of your daughters could get a job there, and guys can ogle her "hooters"! You'd probably be proud!
