Massachusetts Senate casinos bill debate delay welcomed by opponents
State senators on Wednesday abruptly ended debate on a bill to legalize casino resorts and agreed to resume Thursday after a series of opening speeches laid the groundwork for an upcoming vote and staked out positions on both sides of the issue.

I hope they pass the casino bill.....a lot of people take buses to gamble in neighboring states. Let's keep that money in Massachusetts. Besides it will help with some new jobs for Massachusetts residents.

That sounds great but it will do nothing for Everett other than rip apart the roads.
Even IF it goes to Revere, which is unlikely, it will be jobs for REVERE residents and REVERE tax benefits and people cutting through Everett to get to Revere.
I dont like when people put the cart before the horse and proclaim all this money and jobs to Everett residents when that will never happen.
