I dealt with them for 18 years. You need to stay on top of everything involving your case. I had several child support payments ( which I requested to be taken out of my check) that were sent to custodial parent and were never posted to my account. With my check stub I could prove I paid it. Basically they work for the women. It is definitely
impartial. Good Luck!

Isn't that the truth. My daughters mother hasn't paid child support in 2 years. In fact she hasn't paid one penny on it since I got custody of my daughter. She owes about 5,000 and no one is making her pay it. If it was a man he'd be sitting in jail.

That's not totally true!!
My ex-husband was over $20,000 behind and I called constantly and finally had to track him down myself and go into their office with all the info! I also went to the sheriffs department to file a warrant! And it still took a year for the warrant to be served! I had to write letters an d make calls to the county where he lived to get the warrant served! I had to do the majority of the work on it!

Agree! My hubby has to do all the detective work on his sons mother bc they don't enforce her child support. So we stopped her visitation, got a warrant, and in order for her to get him we call the police to come pick her up! They will if the know she has the warrant. She pays it and gets out then gets visitation again until she gets behind enough for a warrant..it's the cycle we do! If they would make her sit in jail longer..she may learn a lesson!! On another note, I did a review in my case against my daughters dad and they raised it and set a court date to raise it again without my asking! Shows you the difference...

She'll probably never learn her lesson. Least yours pays it after being in jail. My daughters mother sit in jail for 2 weeks, they let her out and she still hasn't paid it. Taking visitation away wouldn't help me she doesn't want to see our daughter anyway and hasn't asked to see her once in the 2 years I've had her. She lives off from here and I don't even really know where she is.

I know the feeling! My ex husband sat in jail for 6 months and still didn't want to pay! The judge would not let him out until there was a garnishment order in place! She told him that if he quit his job it was an automatic 2 years in the penn!!!

Unfortunately I would just have her sign her rights away and call it a loss. It's sad to say that but at least you will have peace of mind she cannot return later for any reason.

There all a click down at the child support office and they need to break that shhhht up. Put a man in office instead of all women. Of course there gonna be parcial.

We already tried that she wrote a letter, we went to court. Judge wouldn't let her sign them away because he said she was only trying to take the easy way out and avoid responsibility and child support. Which was the truth but my God, she obviously wanted nothing to do with the child and didn't care for it. I was so mad, the who system is severely flawed!!

Fraud?! Are you serious? They're case workers, not miracle workers! As far as the 'click'(aka clique) comment- there are only 3 that work there, 2 of which have been friends their whole life. You act as if they have a vendetta against all NCP's; when the truth of the matter is they couldn't care less. They do their job based on what the Commonwealth states their responsibilities are. They don't sign warrants, that's up to the CP. Do they ever make mistakes? Sure, we ALL do! Also, child support & visitation have nothing to do with each other. In fact, it is against the law to withhold visitation because money is owed.

True about visitation. However if there are warrants esp. felonies you can request that visitation be suspended until the warrants are served. The court usually will accept your request.

Just remember though, if they don't accept it, the NPC can come after you for with holding visitation! So just be very careful!

The judge signs the order after the County Attorney approves it, after the caseworker finishes the paperwork, after both parties reach an agreement. Theres a uniform worksheet that figures the amnt. If either party disagrees with the others figures, they will have to provide proof. Quit bitchin & pointing fingers & pay your child support! Its a shame a court order has to be in place for you to take care of your own kid!!
