Well, let's see!!! He was 3 young children's father. So no matter what the hell he done in life or choices he made, Shaun is their hero. I don't understand the pathetic people who get on these bulletins and post heartless comments. Must not have a life is all I can sum it up to. But I worked with Shaun for a short time recently. He is a good guy and he did without question love his children. We none live our lives by the book and we all fall short. Shaun had alot put on his plate in the last several months and I don't have to go in detail for those who are just nosy. I have been reading all this ridiculous crap on here for days now and I finally put my 2 cents in. And that is really all it is is 2 cents. Some of what was put on his plate was probably due to his choices but let's just say Shaun was completely drunk out of his mind and high on the worst drug out there when this happened does that really mean that his friends and family miss him any less or love him any less or say he deserved what he got. HELL NO. My personal opinion (again MY OPINION), that wasn't the case. I don't know I wasn't in Shaun's shoes that night. Truth be known, Darcee may not even know but what I do know is that this is a terrible loss and is undeserving to all involved. Thanks to the man above he allowed Darcee to be there for these kids. Darcee I only was acquainted with you from way back in the day, but I want to say you hang in there sweetheart and stay strong even when you think ya can't go on you have too. These kids are hanging on to you girl and to Tammy, I am so so sorry for all your family has been through in the last 4-5 months. None of you listen to these dumbasses on here talkin smack they aren't worth it. I will keep your whole family in our prayers. Please call work and let us know when services are.

It appears they were trying to get to church early and get a good seat. Should have driven slower, no reason to hurry.

Nope. Eastbound and missed the righthand curve. Went straight through the pole and into the tree out front of the Faith Church's parsonage. How ironic he met his maker on church property.

Isn't it rich that Patti and Chris, the perps alleged friends haven't got anything better to do in this time of crisis but to go on a blog and argue. Maybe their time might be better served helping to console the grieving family, maybe take a covered dish to the house or just be there for comfort. No, I'm guessing their use of the word "friend" is either a stretch beyond reality or they are just too high to make the effort. Pass the joint Patti.

OK that's enough. I've been sticking to the facts of the accident.
Now let's get to the heart of the matter: If somebody was even remotely concerned about being "someones husband, father, brother, son, & friend" they wouldn't have drugs and (perhaps) alcohol on board, wouldn't be going so fast as to launch themselves into the air, snap a telephone pole like it was a toothpick, fly another 100 feet or more and wrap their car around a tree. If that somebody really cared about the person in the car with them, they'd never put that person into harm's way like that. It is physically impossible to have ended up where that car did, if the driver was being a responsible operator of it. Yes, it does matter whether the car stopped. If it had, if the car was moving at posted speed, then the accident could not possibly have been as severe. But as is demonstrated day in and day out, drivers bend the law, or ignore it completely, because THEY seem to think it doesn't apply to them or perhaps they think 'nobody's looking.'
I bet this wasn't far from being the first time for such a reckless road trip. Where were you THOSE times,'friend'?
Too bad someone died, but as they say,'You made your bed, now lie in it.' I feel sad for people who die in accidents, but this was no accident. It was reckless disregard for human life.

Ok "Bozo" have no clue who the hell you are, but get it right or shut the hell up! First of all a man has lost his life, he was someones husband, father, brother, son, & friend, so show a little compasion to his family & friends. Secondly, the "woman" you are referring to is a very close friend of mine & is in serious condition right now, not to mention she has to figure out how to raise 3 young children on her own now. She wasn't even conscious at the scene to say if she was driving or not & by the way where did you get that she said she was driving because I didn't see your dumbass at the hospital today so don't talk shit when you don't even have the slightest clue. Does it really matter if alcohol was involved, does it matter if they didn't stop at the light, Shawn is now gone & Darcee & her 3 children are going to be lost for a very long time, so shut up with the stupid crap & just pray for her recovery & the health & happiness of their kids & the rest of their family who is dealing with this horrible loss.
To the Redmon & Sloan families, I'm sorry for this horrific loss in your lives, I love you all & I'm praying for your families.
Patti & Chris!

The end results was a tragedy happened and people died, Family has lost loved ones. Respect that please.Nobody is perfect in life, They do things sometimes they regret until it's too late. I don't know if the man and woman we're high or drunk. It's mute she is in critical condition He is dead. They had three kids without a father now. Help them out people, We use to do that in this country, I'm sure many killed in the tsunami and katrina hurricaine could had been drug addicts or worse things. But people sent aid to them regardless.I know many who post here right now have gotten into a car and drove after a few beers or shot of whiskey, Sometimes we do things without thinking clearly, Let's stop judging so much and support those in need after a tragedy, The kids had no part in this accident. Think of them and how they feel even if they read some of this cruel post.I lost a little cousin whose birthday was the same of mine to a drunk driver, She was only 5 years old. She was draged for two blocks underneath the car by a lady drunk driver convicted a few times before for drinking and driving. I don't despise all drinkers for he death of my little cousin.I know I wont drink and drive no matter what or how close I am to my home.I know many think I don't live that far away just a few blocks and I'll be right home. Think people always before you get into a car after partying.better safe than sorry forever. And again to the family I'm sorry for the tragic loss in you're life.Don't get riled up over those post of angry rants and assuming they know what happened to cause the accident, Just cling to one another and love again and keep the family strong through love and friends and every fond memory you have of that loved one lost.
