This business sucks. It's the worst customer service (hell, there isn't any customer service, period!!!

If you are a member and want to cancel, you'll have to drive to their office (assuming they haven't locked the doors to ward off a band of customer with torches).

Don't make the mistake of dealing with them.

I disagree. It is common practice for a cable company to require their equipment to be returned. In my dealings with Nulink they have been most helpful, much more than Comcast was at where I last lived, and at least they state the charges for the service upfront, unlike DirectTV and Dish. The only complaint I have with the company is no video on demand channel, and higher prices than some other companies, but I will live with that for an honest, helpful business.

This company is awful. They had a monopoly for some time and treated their customers like crap because of it. They would turn off my service if I was a little late on my bill and charge me 30 bucks to turn it back on. They don't respect their customers and the worst part of their service is they over-charge like hell, with basic cable and 2 DVR boxes my bill is over $120 a month and that's just for their Basic TV Package!! I now have AT&T U-verse fiber-optic and I am thrilled to finally dump this greedy company as my service provider. I hope they are closed down due to the new and better competition. My tv picture is cyrtal clear and my internet signal is faster than it ever was with nulink. My internet, phone and cable is now $180 per month and I have showtime, starz and encore just to name a few of the premium channels I get for less than I did with just basic from nulink!! Yea!!! Free at last....

Nulink is hands down the worst customer service ever.
They dont give a damn about the customer!

Where do you live in Newnan? I would like to get U-Verse, but it isn't offered yet. I live in Summergrove.

When Newnan Utilities owned the internet and cable service everything was great. If I had a problem they responded quickly and fixed it right the first time. NuLink, not so much. I have been trying to get a technician to my house for a month to fix an intermittent internet problem. He finally showed up and replaced a splitter and left. Still have the same problem. Customer service has been terrible. Long hold periods and tech support thinks the fix for everything is to unplug the modems. At first opportunity Nulink will be gone along with their premium increases they call rate adjustments.

NuLink has major infrastructure issues. I have been in Newnan for about a year, just long enough to enjoy NuLink trash the network. No visit to your house is going to fix their issues. The have very poor peering agreements and over saturated POPs. Most of us in SummerGrove are screwed because it is either that or very slow DSL from AT&T. I have started www.NewnanInternet.com to log some of my frustrations.

I started with Newnan Utilities in 1999. Their service was fantastic for years. I had a cable cut and they were here in less than 2 hours! Alas, the powers that be decided to sell the TV and Internet service to Nu-Link. Pitiful is the best way that I can describe it. I am getting fed up. I have a 6 mbps internet connection that drops to 2.0-2.5 mbps in the evening. Why? Speed Test after Speed Test shows the same result. In the morning, back up to 5.5-6 mbps. I call the # for tech support and get transferred to "broadband support" wherever they are and get the run around. Am told that nu-link will call me in the A.M. to schedule a service call. No call. I call them, during business hours, guess what; back to "broadband support"! I rant enough to get connected to someone actually in Newnan! Explain my problem, no answers. Asks if I know exactly when the down speed drops. I don't know, sometime after dark! Wants me to try more speed tests tonight and call them when it's slow. I have a way now to get them instead of "broadband support" after hours. I'll let you know what happens.

Well at exactly 4:16 PM today, my download speed dropped significantly. Did 4 speed tests within 15 minutes. Results were : 2.41, 2.25, 1.18, and 2.30 mbps! I'm paying for 6 mbps service. Called Nu-Link and was told that everyone in tech support was on the phone. Took my number and said that they would call back. Still waiting. That big of a drop is unacceptable. More later.

It's Wednesday, and Nu-Link never called back. Yesterday the speed drop occurred at 4:26 PM. Also packet drops continuously. Waiting for a page to load so long that I click stop and start all over again.

I'm in a better position than others; I have ATT U-verse in my neighborhood. They are installing next week.

Nu-Link better improve quickly if they want to stay around.

I agree...this has to be the worst company I have ever dealt with. They must have 1 part time employee, because I have never been able to get anyone when I call with a problem. I always have to leave a message and wait for a call. In other words, the customer needs to be available when THEY have time for him or her...not the other way around! How is that for customer service?!

I need to make a change. What is the best alternative out there for people living near downtown?

DON'T Use NUlink if your business depends on it! I work from home and still can't send emails for 3 days! First they acted like it was my fault, then they gave me the run around for system updates, and finally they admitted that this affected hundreds of customers! I still don't have resolution and NO ONE ever called me back!

I just moved to Newnan and into NuLink hell.
My Vonage service is extremely bad and that is because Nulink cannot deliver a consistent 90K bps. They have asked me to use the acceleron website to check speed, but that only checks peak speed and as per Nulink everything is fine.

In the evenings, I have extremely spotty service and Nulink has finally told me that there is nothing they can do.
But everyone take heart. I spoke to Clear and they should be in the Newnan Area in the next couple of weeks. They are already in Fairburn.

Nulink's rates are about to go up again!! Call them if you don't believe me. The so called local company that does not have the local football games even though charter and comcast did.

I'm done with them. I am switching to make sure Iíll be able to watch the super bowl this year

They aren't carrying the SB? If they go up, I will change as well. No problems but they aren't up to par with challengers.

Last year the SB (as well as the rest of the local channels) went out mid way through the first quarter and did not come back till the end of the third. I was not able to get through to them. Iím sure it was because everyone was calling. I called back the day after a few times and each person I talked to could not even tell me what had happened.

Since then all of the locals have gone out at least 10 times, where all of the channels are just yellow. Not to mention all of the times where one of the locals go out or if there is a picture and no sound. Before I left Nulink I had given up on the hd channels because I could not watch a program without it tiling.
