I attended the school during the same time you were there, without citing your name. We transferred out after noticing many weird things during our years at HCS. My parents often complained, the world and education was moving on. HCS wasnt equipped to move on. From what I hear from recent grads, it is not all that great. Many of the students are struggling in college, which is not good if your parents paid tuition for a good program. You were one of the lucky ones, who happens to be naturally smart.

I understand some of you may have had bad experiences with Heritage at some point, however I can attest that Heritage Christian School provides quality education and also instills students with lasting values. I actually happen to have attended Heritage kindergarten through 12th and graduated valedictorian. Now I am currently attending the University of West Georgia with a 3.8 GPA, and I plan to transfer to Georgia Tech following this next school year. My brother, who also attended HCS kindergarten through 12th) is graduating from Georgia Tech with a bachelor's in architecture this week with highest honors.
Needless to say, Heritage Christian School is a great institution that definitely prepares students for college as well as teaches about the most important thing in life, our Savior Jesus Christ. Any child would be lucky to attend this school and I'm sure the parents would benefit from it as well.
Thanks and God bless.
P.S.- Heritage Christian School (Hwy. 34) and the Heritage School (Hwy. 29) are completely separate institutions with absolutely no affiliation other than sharing a name. So any comments about rude security guards should be dismissed. I'm sure the staff at Heritage would be more than willing to help if your car broke down.

Heritage educationally wise is not the best in the area. It is only a little bit better than the public schools ,but is a wonderful school. You can play any sport without having to try out which builds confidence. Although you don't have to tryout the sports at HCS are excellent. They need to do some work n the facility it does look cheap and the classrooms are small, you can tell it is very old. I am no longer particularly found of the current principal Mr.Davis. He is a good person a good principal, but I feel like he can be a little shady sometimes. Mr.Davis is a wonderful math teacher though. Heritage Christian has its perks and faults just like every other school in the world and they truly do instill Christian morals and values and I am proud to say that I am a middle schooler at Heritage Christian School. I love it!

I also would like to add that I feel that I have a bound with the teachers and I could tell them anything. There is almost no drama which is rare and helps us stay focused on learning. We still have a great time even though we are learning. Chapel i wonderful and the lunches are so much better than public schools. We also get break, which is kind of like a snack, everyday and it helps us stay focused and not starving.

It's very obvious a parent has posted theae comments. Posing as a middle school student is awful. Be honest, talk about the real issues. There is drama with teacher, students, and parents. You can tell the teachers anything, and they share it with other students and often pare ts. So not worth the $day spent for private education.

Why didn't you get a full ride to GaTech to begin with? Why go to UWG?

Hey how the hell am i supposed to know they had two locations? Ever thought about becoming a mapquest for topix?
They do NOT have two locations. The Heritage school is a private school on Hwy 29. It is a prep school. Heritage Christian School is on Hwy 34 on the way to peachtree City and is considered Sharpsburg, not Newnan. Two totally different schools- the prep school has no religious affiliation and can definitely afford security guards.

No institution is going to be perfect in every way to everyone. Heritage Christian School has been the best choice for my child. The spirit of the students and teachers are amazing. When you have a support group like that around you anything is possible to achieve, and my child has excelled and loved being in this school. They constantly work on improvements just as any other school does and strive for the best always.

The application process put my child in tears. I have never been more mortified by an application process in my life. It's brutal, if your child is a straight A student, don't bother, if you can afford tuition, don't bother, if you are able to donate a lot of money to this school, don't bother. Apparently , they don't need your money or new students.

Update on Heritage Christian School, now known as Central Christian School. Just my thought but I believe they changed the name so it would be easier for the new students that they are bringing in to spell. I'm sure they can spell thug though.
On a more serious note, CCS did get a new headmaster last year and a new athletic director this year with a serious Napolean Syndrome. HCS was an excellent school with a great academic record. But the powers to be that have been there for years have relinquished control to people that don't share the same vision. The fore mentioned Napolean is now scholarshipping athletes (thugs) to build his ego. It's a shame to see such a well respected institution lose their respect that was so genuinely earned. Beware!! Keep your daughters away. There is already trouble brewing. What's your priority going to be CCS? The safety of our kids or feeding the ego of Buddy Wolfe?
Terribly Thankful for CCS

I usually do not respond to hate mail but could not let the comments made by a recent writer about “thugs” at Central Christian go unaddressed. God has richly blessed our school this year with increased enrollment in every grade from kindergarten through twelfth grade. God has brought in Godly young people whose parents have partnered with us to prepare students to impact the world for Jesus Christ. I teach at the school and know the students and can tell you they are Godly young people who have won the respect of teachers and students alike. Teaching them has been a joy as they work hard in the classroom and are exemplary in their behavior. Referring to any young person as a “thug” is downright hateful. Referring to them as a thug when it is entirely unfounded is shameful. I am honored to teach the students at CCS… ALL of the students.

I also find the comments toward Coach Woolf just as hateful and unfounded. He has worked hard with all of us and with all of the students. He has earned our respect and loves our kids.

Finally, you are correct. We do have a strong academic record. We work hard as teachers and achievement has increased in every grade. There is also an emphasis on integrating Promethean technology with instruction that is second-to-none.

As a Christian, I choose to forgive the hateful remarks. God loves His kids… ALL of His kids and I invite you to do the same.

This is not a College Prep School. The teachers are mediocre, and the leadership is ripping parents off.
This school is awesome. We have been there four years. The children are way ahead in the work they do compared to a public school. Sounds like some disgruntled former parents or just plain jealous.

By "thugs" do you mean young black boys? Just wondering.
