Sounds Odd

Sounds like they want to get back what $$$ they have already spent. Calling it an "investment" means they can run with a smaller loss. That plant will never be built. Besides the Holiday Inn in Portsmouths food could not be worth $500 for 2 dinners. I know it is for the so called "investment" but come on at least bring in someone who can make a good meal. Another thing they only have contracts with home oweners until the end of the year. Most will not be willing to sign anymore contracts. Just saying sounds odd but if it is on the up an up I sure hope it works. Franklin Furnace needs as much help as it can get. Good Luck Hope it works out for you.

If New Steel doesn't have the money for a "study", how are they going to finance a 500 million $ plant?

I would like to know that as well. If the banks are not loaning $$$ how are they going to come up with the 2 Billion to build the plant? Oh I know they will ask us to buy a $500,000 luncheon plate! You know we are all so rich we can pay it. They better hope they have the $$$ to buy all the land they have under contract. If they let them "Expire" this time they will not get another chance. The Steel Mill will have to give up no one will give them the time of day up in the Furnace again. They have strung everyone along for too long. I think they want to build it but only if they are given the $$ they don't want to use there money. They have enough other companies use some of the profits to invest in your own Steel Mill! We are not going to build it an give up the tax money. How Stupid do they think we are?

I don't think it is going to be built either. Also ther is no way New Steel has invested 12 million of there own money. The permits an land contracts an the survey dose not add up. So some one is fibbing when the say that they have spent that much$$ They would not have spent that much unless they have already bought the land. (which they have not)

From what I have read there are investors from the USA and 3 other countries who are paying for the plant. New Steel despite its name is not a steelmaking company, they are a Professional Engineering and a Construction Management firm. I did read they are the developers for the project which to me seems (and certainly looks like) like they have an idea for a $7 Billion steel plant for which they will get investors (The afore mentioned foreign investors) to pony up the cash for everything giving out shares for the money. You would think they will keep shares for themselves (are they paying for these shares?, have the 4 large investors and a percentage of smaller ones. As I said I read some of this, thought of some of it on my own and this is as far as I have gotten lol. I do not know who will run the plant, who has the most shares and if they have enough to give that company controlling interest, what will the company be called?, what are they building that costs $7 Billion? I have never heard of a plant costing that much or even anywhere near that much. So I would say your questions and concerns are very valid ones. Something doesn't seem right, but not being a big businessman I wouldn't know what part of it all is not business as usual, as the saying goes.

I was hopig not to run into your type of personality on here. The holier than thou internet troll.

Sneak in, put people down, make comments on things the other person never said, pretend you are smart. But in the end add nothing to any conversation, except to show everyone that your pseudo intellectual act is in fact just an act.

Now go wake up your mother, rub her feet, live out your Oedipus complex and watch Jerry Springer hoping this time when your Father is on he isn't dressed like a woman.
Now that is how you insult someone, it's ok you can copy it and use it as your own another time.

BTW replying is pointless as I am leaving this discussion. I have no time to play games like this.
