I love how small town rumors get started and innocent people get drug through the mud. First of all, she was not on Applegate's boat. She was asleep on her cousin's pontoon boat. Secondly, she was not drunk. She was on heart medication, but had forgot it in her hometown of Williamson, West Virginia. It was announced yesterday that she had no water in her lungs and therefore did not drown. They are confident it was heart related, which means, natural causes. That is not heresay. That is from the officials. There was tremendous effort by those present at the marina and first repsonders to revive her, but all efforts failed. As far as a "drunk girl left in a chair", once again, small town rumors that get people drug through the mud that should not be. My name is posted. I am easy to find if you need further clarification.

really wrote: You "over heard"..... that is the problem with people who "over hear" - they repeat things they don't know to be true and hurt others in the process. If you weren't there don't spread hearsay. It has been hard on everyone involved. and i guess im the only one thats ever done that? STFU!!! I was only asking what happened. i didnt hurt anyone, i didnt spread anything, i only asked if anyone knew what happened! and if you have a problem then dont read it!!!

I don't think Mark said anything about drinking! He said she wasn't drunk (hugh difference) and the paper never said she was drunk! Let the investigators decide! If you weren't there then it's heresay.

People kill me. They want to make more out of something when they don't have the facts!! And the paper wants to sensationalize a story.
The lady DID go to the boat with someone and she went to sleep. Whe was having health issues and more than likely when she awoke, didn't grasp her surroundings. She got up and onto the dock and due to her health issues fell off the dock.
As the preliminary results from autopsy said --- no water in lungs. So she did not drown. She was more than likely dead when she fell into the water.
This is VERY Tragic. Put yourself in the shoes of those who were there and woke up from someone screaming because their loved one wasn't on the boat. Put yourself n their shoes as they searched everywhere for her and then found her in the water. Put yourself in their shoes as CPR was given with no results.
Now that you have done that. SHUT UP!!! there are people grievng for this woman who died from something that had nothing to do with drinking!!
