You must not know much about the Knobs. It isn't a very big place at all. One bike wreck would be a lot, out there.

Motorcycle accident leaves man in critical condition
Published: June 13, 2013 10:29AM

A Frankfort man is in critical condition at the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital following an early morning motorcycle accident Wednesday.

Byron K. Rhodes, 54, lost control of his 1960 Harley Davidson while driving north on Harp Pike and made contact with the pavement.

Sheriff Pat Melton said it appeared Rhodes was wearing a helmet and alcohol is not suspected as a factor in the single-vehicle accident.

Frankfort Fire and EMS was dispatched to the 1400 block of Harp Pike and treated Rhodes on the scene. He was then airlifted to the UK hospital.
