ok whats with this marcum, damn man pulls me over for tint every month. is it me or is he a pure dickhead. hes the worst frankfort cop by far. Hes the cop in the frankfort cop commercial,the fat one. he needs to have his badge taken away. he makes me dislike cops in frankfort. i go to court and when the gas, and hes right back on the rode giving me another ticket. WHAT A Bitch. he need PUSSY quick

F*ck this fool!!!! He pulled a car over that I was riding in, wouldn't say why he pulled us over, pulled everyone out the car and searched them. I am a FEMALE and he put his hands on me without ANY OTHER female being present. Isn't this why there are female cops??? Whether they are lesbian or not, I would have rather been searched by one of them. I felt like he used his so called "authority" to feel up on me. I had on very tight jeans where you could obviously see that I had nothing in the pockets but he surely felt the need to put his hands in my back pockets and grab my a$$. Never checked my front pockets though..... and in the end he never found anything on me. He really does need his badge taken away. He gives the rest of the cops a HORRIBLE rep.

You're right...There are some cops that do take advantage of their position and need to be reported to their Superior Officers but if you read through the topics on here most are to bash the "cops" and it gets old after awhile...

The ones that are "complaining" can call their "Friends or Dawgs" or whatever they want to call them when they have somebody breaking in their cars,house or beating up a family member and see where that gets them but no, they call the same cops they are running in the ground to do the job and you know what????? The COPS are there for them NO MATTER WHAT IS SAID ABOUT THEM!
If you think you can do THEIR job better then go through the training they have to and get your @$$ out there and do it....Things might look a lil bit different after you walk in their shoes for awhile!!!!

He pulled me over twice and made me get out of the car when I had a dress on. The first time he did a U turn and pulled me over cause my license plate was a month expired, YEAH RIGHT. The other, well, we'll see soon enough about that.
And on another note, I was with African-American friends in the car both times, never get pulled over otherwise by anybody else in Frankfort.

Then take it to his Superior Officers,I'd be over his head so fast he'd have track burns on top of it....If ANYONE abuses their authority or power then they need to be reported!!

No I'm not a cop and I can see this is going nowhere fast..And No,I don't know Officer Marcum personally or very many of the others here in town for that matter either but I do respect them for doing the job they have..If he harasses you then go over his head and report him,he needs it to be reported.
And dat one dude,no this isn't a big metropolitan city but it is the CAPITAL of Ky and believe me it needs revamping all over,the building they were in was falling apart and in very bad shape...And do you know for a fact it was pulled from the new pool and rec center for kids??

I find it amusing how many people that can get on a computer and bash someone for doing their job. Now, if a person (whether it be Jerry, another officer, or someone else in a totally different position) abuse their power, then yes, their supervisor should be made aware of it. I have known Officer Marcum for quiet sometime. While I agree that sometimes he is "all about the job", isnt that what the police are for? He is an outstanding officer. Yes, we are all entitled to our opinions and if you dont like him, thats your choice, you dont have to. He does his job and does it well. That may make some people unhappy. Im sorry, but thats what he and other LEO's are trained to do. If we didnt have them, lord only knows what type of world we would live in. As far as him "copping a feel", did you report this incident? I find it very hard to believe, but again, i wasnt there. If you felt that you were violated at that time, why didnt you go to his supervisor or the chief? It amazes me that people want to come out with complaints LONG after it has happened and only when someone else has bashed these people. I am not saying that he, or anyone else is perfect, lord knows Im not as is anyone else. However, lets be adults about this. These men (and women) who are getting "bashed" on here have familes, wives, husbands, kids and some very young kids. Would you all want YOUR little ones reading or being read some of the slander that is written on here if it were about you?

im gettin ready to lose my license over a speedin ticket i got from Marcum. He does have an attitude problem and does let his authority go to his head. But Leigh is right, if I wasnt speeding I woudnt have gotten pulled over. and what good does it do to sit and talk about someone on the internet? now someone did have a point when they started talkin about the bull**** new police station they got, like Frankfort really needed that. They started tearin up Douglas, tore up two sides of the street, ain't seen em since, now downtown is gettin done quickly. It's like they started it and said nevermind, Douglas will be ok, it can wait. Why'd they start if they wasn't gonna finish? Anyway, but shes got a point, yall want your names all over this sight.

To Leigh....actually right after this happened, I got an attorney over the matter. However, most attorney's here in Frankfort are part of the "Good Ol Boys Club" with the officers and mine was no exception. Nothing was ever done about my complaint, and I couldn't afford to hire an out of town attorney. I am not just bringing this up LONG after the incident. I tried to do something about it but to no avail. And as for if I wasn't breaking the law I wouldn't have gotten pulled over....he EVENTUALLY said he pulled us over for not using a turn signal. Amazing how that warrants a search of the entire vehicle and all the passengers.
