I'm about to turn 18, and I've been thinking about getting a certain tattoo for over a year now. It's going to be fairly large, and it would be my first tattoo. It's a creatove memorial for my mother, if you must know (:
But, I was just wondering if anyone knew where I could get it done. And please, if you're only going to reply with "tattoos are the devils work", you're not going to get a rise out of me. So try somewhere else. Thanks ((:

Tattoos aren't the devil's work, they're just boring.

In 1979 you conformed by wearing rolled up jeans and a polo shirt. In 2011 you conform by getting a tattoo.

On grandview, Crazy Tatoo, I believe it is called, see Bootsie. Cheap price, great work. Does it because he likes it not for the money.

Do you think your mother would really approve of you marking yourself up for life in order to give tribute to her? Is this something she would truly like? I doubt she would want her daughter to become a walking billboard in her name. Why not spend the money wisely? How about contributing to a charity in her name? Ask yourself these questions BEFORE doing something that will stay with you forever.

I agree. Nobody wants to see their child do stupid things. Especially something that will last the rest of your life. You may think it's a special tribute now, but in several years after you mature you won't think it was such a great idea but you'll be stuck with it. Plus no guy wants to see a girl all inked. They just look nasty. Find another way to memorialize your mother.

Is it fun in this fantasy world you live in? Nasty actions are what classify nasty people. Tattoos are an expression of creative thought. True, ill thought out or badly done amateur tattoos tend to look ridiculous. However, someone who puts thought into their tattoos and goes to a decent artist will have tattoos that are beautiful.

Don't you think a 17 year old kid wanting a tattoo covering a large part of her body is ill thought out? I stand by my original statement that her mother would not agree with this idea.

Maybe so. However, you proceeded to insult an entire group of people saying that inked girls are nasty. And that's what I was defending.

I know a great artist that does them at his house. He's done 3 of mine plus many of my friends. He's super clean and sterile. He knows what he's doing for sure. Everybody loves his work. And he gives great prices too!
