Definitely worth it. You'll get a better deal than going to Jared

True. I took mine old engagement ring to the jeweler on myrtle, gold something. They can melt the gold and make a new ring, fraction of the cost.

I have a wedding set that we paid $950 for in 1995. Was looking to sell the set for the gold and was offered $125. My advice, shop secondhand if you can because whatever you pay for new isn't going to be what it's worth the next day. Then again, if you're buying for your future spouse, the idea is they'll keep it til death do you part. lol

True they are owned by the same company, but for some reason Kay is more likely to give you a discount. You gotta be able to talk them down.

I stopped into Kay Jewelers over the weekend and purchased a nice, somewhat expensive, neclace for my wife. the young lady was eager to help and very down to earth, i will not bring her name into this post, although her accent would stand out in any crowd. what I will say, of all the employees working there, she was the only one that didnt turn her nose up and walk away at the sight of my muddy work attire. she treated me with the upmost respect and even made sure i too received an extra discount although i had no prior knowledge they were doing any such thing on that particular day. she talked to me, and others, as though she's known us all her life and never once made me feel as though i was being rushed.*they were incredibly busy.
all in all i'd have say she was a sales lady i wont forget, and will ask for every time i return. kay jewelers gets my vote.

Matt Brown REALLY wrote:
you people frankfort are PATHETIC. Putting Matts name on every post shows why you all dont have a life to do anything better than get doped up and be losers. You all can rott in this town he has bigger and better career moves to leave this place in the dust. Theres no real money here. Thats why people want to speculate and accuse. You will see the real truth is theres more people involved in being investigated and none of them are named Matt. Get a real life and a real job and get off of this name. BTW there are several Matt Browns in this town alone. pick another one.
Maybe he can teach you how to spell.
