What do you mean by not finding any "good" ones? There are 2 that have been advertised.

Well, let's see.
At the FCHS, we have Marty, a Beagle

We have Prissy, a Chihuahua

Those dogs should not reach 20 lbs, esp the Chihuahua so why don't you go back?

I understand the weight limit. Surely there are little dogs that fit your criteria. I saw a min-pin advertised and a chihuahua atty the FCHS. Did you speak to anyone when you went, or just look and left?

Sorry to say it, but if you are broke, you do not need a dog. How are you going to pay for its food, yearly shots, yearly checkup, flea control, and whatever medical bills might come up.
You should concentrate on taking care of yourself and your kid.
Dogs are not 'zero maintenance'- if you can't take care of one, don't get one. You are not doing yourself or the dog any favors if you can't afford the basics.

I agree with well, if you can't afford to adopt a pet, its not the right time for you to have one. If you want a dog, why not foster? Humane Society provides everything and yoy provide the love.

How about you spend a little more time learning how to speak properly and a little less time looking for a pet you can't afford. Maybe save up for a car?

So do you have multiple names? You need to get your shit together first and then add another pet. Where do you work? How many hours are you gone from your home? Does your dog get along with other pets? You can't just throw them together and expect them to be friends. And where are your family members that are vets? Here in Frankfort?

If you work from home grooming, then you shouldn't be gone a whole lot, right?

Looking for a free dog implies you are broke.
No one wants to see a dog, child, or senior go to a home with impoverished conditions against their will.
That's what's "wrong" with them.
