You know what I love about believing in God? I love that I do not feel the need to judge others and I do not need to insults those whose beliefs are different than myself. If you don't believe, fine, but don't be so delusional as to think you have the right and duty to degrade others who aren't your identical clone.

I don't believe and yes, that is fine. It is not delusional to think I have the right to make the world a better place by educating the ignorant. I don't want others to be my clone lol. I want them to think. How do we define "delusional"... I think choosing to believe in something for which there is no proof is delusional. My opinions are based in fact. Facts that have been uncovered over time by such freethinkers as: Einstein, Stephen Hawking, Sigmund Freud, Ben Franklin, Thomas Edison, Richard Dawkins and so on. And who's on your side? The Westboro Baptist Church, Kirk Cameron, Bill O'reilly, David Koresh, the KKK, Jim Jones, Robert Tilton, Benny Hinn...lol. I think I'll stick with evidence and reason.

And my point is: I don't care. Why don't you worry about yourself instead of judging others. You may feel entitled to sway other people's beliefs, but it is not your duty to do so. The fact that people have different ideas and beliefs is what makes us who we are. The fact that you think you have the right or the ability to change who I am makes you delusional.

I'm not at all ignorant. In fact, I'm highly educated and have a good career. At this point we can agree to disagree. Enjoy your life thinking you're superior to others. I have work to do.

Agreed. Enjoy your life of thinking gays are bad, slavery and genocide are okay, and that there is an invisible man watching you. I don't think I'm superior to others, just more willing to learn than some.

Here is a thought for you.
If you have good "morals" because you believe that some "god" is watching you than you are not a good person you are a coward that is afraid of punishment.
I have good morals because I know the difference between right and wrong. Not out of fear.
I urge every one to read the whole bible, not pick and choose like the con artist who want you to follow like sheep want you to do.
The truth is that the god of the bible is the most evil hate filled blood lusting being ever, his ACTIONS make him the evil devil! your children will die at birth or perish in the womb or never even be conceived. Even if your children do survive to grow up, I will take them from you. It will be a terrible day when I turn away and leave you alone. I have watched Israel become as beautiful and pleasant as Tyre. But now Israel will bring out her children to be slaughtered." O LORD, what should I request for your people? I will ask for wombs that don't give birth and breasts that give no milk. The LORD says, "All their wickedness began at Gilgal; there I began to hate them. I will drive them from my land because of their evil actions. I will love them no more because all their leaders are rebels. The people of Israel are stricken. Their roots are dried up; they will bear no more fruit. And if they give birth, I will slaughter their beloved children." (Hosea 9:11-16

You are my battle-ax and sword," says the LORD. "With you I will shatter nations and destroy many kingdoms. With you I will shatter armies, destroying the horse and rider, the chariot and charioteer. With you I will shatter men and women, old people and children, young men and maidens. With you I will shatter shepherds and flocks, farmers and oxen, captains and rulers. "As you watch, I will repay Babylon and the people of Babylonia for all the wrong they have done to my people in Jerusalem," says the LORD. "Look, O mighty mountain, destroyer of the earth! I am your enemy," says the LORD. "I will raise my fist against you, to roll you down from the heights. When I am finished, you will be nothing but a heap of rubble. You will be desolate forever. Even your stones will never again be used for building. You will be completely wiped out," says the LORD.(Jeremiah 51:20-26)

"When you go out to war against your enemies and the LORD, your God, delivers them into your hand, so that you take captives, if you see a comely woman among the captives and become so enamored of her that you wish to have her as wife, you may take her home to your house. But before she may live there, she must shave her head and pare her nails and lay aside her captive's garb. After she has mourned her father and mother for a full month, you may have relations with her, and you shall be her husband and she shall be your wife. However, if later on you lose your liking for her, you shall give her her freedom, if she wishes it; but you shall not sell her or enslave her, since she was married to you under compulsion."
Once again God approves of forcible rape.
8) Rape and the Spoils of War (Judges 5:30 NAB)
: there must be a damsel or two for each man, Spoils of dyed cloth as Sisera's spoil, an ornate shawl or two for me in the spoil.(Judges 5:30 NAB)
9) Sex Slaves (Exodus 21:7-11 NLT)
When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are. If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again. But he is not allowed to sell her to foreigners, since he is the one who broke the contract with her. And if the slave girl's owner arranges for her to marry his son, he may no longer treat her as a slave girl, but he must treat her as his daughter. If he himself marries her and then takes another wife, he may not reduce her food or clothing or fail to sleep with her as his wife. If he fails in any of these three ways, she may leave as a free woman without making any payment.(Exodus 21:7-11

I urge every one to read the entire bible, not picking and choosing as the christian cult does.
If there was a god the ACTIONS of this being would make him the most evil, hate filled, blood lusting, petty devil.
The glory of Israel will fly away like a bird, for your children will die at birth or perish in the womb or never even be conceived. And if they give birth, I will slaughter their beloved children." (Hosea 9:11-16 NLT)

Kill Men, Women, and Children

"Then I heard the LORD say to the other men, "Follow him through the city and kill everyone whose forehead is not marked. Show no mercy; have no pity! Kill them all – old and young, girls and women and little children. But do not touch anyone with the mark. Begin your task right here at the Temple." So they began by killing the seventy leaders. "Defile the Temple!" the LORD commanded. "Fill its courtyards with the bodies of those you kill! Go!" So they went throughout the city and did as they were told." (Ezekiel 9:5-7 NLT)
(Note that after God promises the Israelites a victory against Babylon, the Israelites actually get their butts kicked by them in the next chapter. So much for an all-knowing and all-powerful God.)
They must be dividing the spoils they took: there must be a damsel or two for each man, Spoils of dyed cloth as Sisera's spoil, an ornate shawl or two for me in the spoil.(Judges 5:30 NAB)
9) Sex Slaves (Exodus 21:7-11 NLT)

From there Elisha went up to Bethel. While he was on his way, some small boys came out of the city and jeered at him. "Go up baldhead," they shouted, "go up baldhead!" The prophet turned and saw them, and he cursed them in the name of the Lord. Then two shebears came out of the woods and tore forty two of the children to pieces.(2 Kings 2:23-24

Then I heard the LORD say to the other men, "Follow him through the city and kill everyone whose forehead is not marked. Show no mercy; have no pity! Kill them all – old and young, girls and women and little children. But do not touch anyone with the mark. Begin your task right here at the Temple." So they began by killing the seventy leaders. Anyone who is captured will be run through with a sword. Their little children will be dashed to death right before their eyes. Their homes will be sacked and their wives raped by the attacking hordes. For I will stir up the Medes against Babylon, and no amount of silver or gold will buy them off. The attacking armies will shoot down the young people with arrows. They will have no mercy on helpless babies and will show no compassion for the children.(Isaiah 13:15-18

Deuteronomy 21:10-14 NAB)

FOR THE CHRISTIAN CULT THAT WANTS TO PICK AND CHOOSE FROM THEIR BIBLE
“For truly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass the law until all is accomplished. Whoever then relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but he who does them and teaches them shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”(Matthew 5:18-19 RSV) Clearly the Old Testament is to be abided by until the end of human existence itself. None other then Jesus said so.
2) All of the vicious Old Testament laws will be binding forever. "It is easier for Heaven and Earth to pass away than for the smallest part of the letter of the law to become invalid." (Luke 16:17 NAB)
3) Jesus strongly approves of the law and the prophets. He hasn’t the slightest objection to the cruelties of the Old Testament. "Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest part or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place." (Matthew 5:17 NAB)
3b) "All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for refutation, for correction, and for training in righteousness..." (2 Timothy 3:16 NAB)
3c) "Know this first of all, that there is no prophecy of scripture that is a matter of personal interpretation, for no prophecy ever came through human will; but rather human beings moved by the holy Spirit spoke under the influence of God." (2 Peter 20-21 NAB)

Bullshit. An Obedient heart? What happened to "free will"? Oh yes, god does not want us to have free will, that is why he got pissy when Satan gave us free will. BWAHAHAHAHAHA
There is no god, at least not the christian version.
How did god go from being violent hate filled and blood lusting to "I love you"? Because your cult has created a new god, yes your cult created their own new god
