Since there is a big issue about FYFL. Here is the solution. CUT IT OUT. LET THERE BE NO MORE OF IT. i Mean it is supposed to be about the children but the parents are the ones that are acting childesh. GROW THE F*** UP and GET OVER IT.

How very grown up of you.... NOT!

You are just upset it's been made too public what's wrong with fyfl. Yes, it's about the kids, all of them. That's why parents speak up. The board doesn't listen. Doesn't want to listen. Can't be reached. If it's about the children, I haven't seen the powers to be make it about the children.

Parents and coaches should not be on the board. They need some people that do not have ties to the teams or kids to be objective. Someone who care about the sport and kids.
1. Enforce basics are being taught.
2. Enforce sportmanship.
3. Enforce every kid plays the same amount of time.

Comment for "Change"... the Commish does not have a football player on any team!! I was a parent on the sidelines when some on this horrible site say that he cussed during the game, which was not the scenario. The scenario was...a coach on the Rams team loudly stated that a call made by an official was a bulls___t call. The Commisioner overheard this comment and calmly told the Rams coach that he was not to use profanity. The coach replied that he did not use profanity and the Commisioner then relayed to him what he had said. If tales are to be told out of school on this site, then people you need to get your facts straight!!! Please remember that we are here for the children and some are loosing site of this.

The Rams coach did not cuss....get your facts straight. He yelled, loudly...BULL CRAP. Not cussing. And the Raiders coach was on his phone on the sidelines, cussing....so no, you don't know what you're talking about. Nice try though.

The "commish" has a grandchild on the Raiders team.

For your info., YES the Rams coach did cuss and I am a Rams parent who was standing there on the Rams sideline when this happened. I support the Rams family just like everyone else but right is right and wrong is wrong. The Commissioner may have a grandchild on a team, but he does not coach him nor does he make a difference when it comes to the children.

I didn't want to believe that a RAMS parent was in stupid debate on this site when I got the email. Please get off topix and please feel free to call me with your concerns regarding this issue.

I'll also be at practice tonight for you to come talk to me in person. This is not the place to "talk". There is a board meeting Sunday and like I said, practice tonight.

Because the school system already has to use tons of its resources to deal with irresponsible crybaby parents who don't take responsibility for their own actions and think their own child can do no wrong. The FYFL would just add to that.

Rams coaches have class- a cuss word was not said and yes Chris was repeating what he thought was said and with that cursed in front of 5-7 year olds. The Rams coach didn't cuss either. Chris could have handled the situation differently but choose to use foul words in Raiders attire w all the Rams sidelines watching him make a scene and not the game. My grandson deserves better.

Y won't the school system step in and take over the league, isn't that where most or some of these kids are headed neways. Just a thought, but at the same time there will always be some kinda drama, always, over the least lil thing. Something needs to happen, this year has been rediculous, at least from what I hear thru the grapevine, sidelines, and oh yeah, let's not forget TOPIX. But, at least there are some REAL points brought up on here that NEED to be addressed! Everyone needs to show up at the field on Sunday, every parent who really cares about the goings on with the league, league officials, refs....and oh yeah, the MONEY, I call for an audit, and all parents should call for it, the books should stay open and available, via this super duper fyfl website they've set up (joke), good idea, poorly executed. And this chris mitchell person, cussin' in front of lil kids, real good commish. He needs to go, they all need to go. Vote year to year. Esp. after what all has gone on this yr. shheeesh
That has to be one of the most ignorant comments on Topix. The school system deals with these kids on a daily basis. What do you think it would accomplish if they got involved? The day to day struggles with some of these kids and their families is enough, the school system doesn't need any part of the FYFL and its never ending drama. It is a matter of getting a solid foundation (board) who is diplomatic, organized and structured.
