What he has done in the last 4 years has not convinced me he has any of the solutions. Does Romney have the solutions???? I don't know! I'm not sure if anyone has the solutions. I don't like Obama's philosophies and where the country is headed. It is as simple as that. I do not understand why if I disagree with you, I become a nutcase. I do not consider you a nutcase just because you have a different opinion. Let's say you like cold weather, I like warm. I prefer a Ford, you prefer a Chevy. I like the color red, you like blue. Does this make either one of us a nutcase??????? Same premise!!!

Does this make either one of us a nutcase??????? Same premise!!! You are a nutcase in my book because you ignore actual facts. You subscribe to a predetermined opinion and that opinion is unwavering even when faced with facts that should be incorporated into the factoring of that opinion. I didn't start with the premise that Obama was either good or bad. I like some things and dislike others. You keep saying you don't like his philosophies but you don't give voice to which philosophies you disagree with except to make claims that he is putting people on welfare. That claim is false and as such your dislike of that philosophy is based on untrue information. You insinuated that it was his philosophy to make more people dependant on government in order to gain more control. But if he hasn't actually done what you claim he has then what is your evidence that that is his philosophy? I can go back and find the quotes from your early posts and show that was your contention. Once those contentions were dispelled you didn't adjust your opinion to fit the facts. That is what makes your views more like religion than reason...you start with the premise and find information which supports that premise. I look at the entire body of facts and attempt to reach logical conclusions about the what those facts show. Your problem is one of approach.

Since the Obama has been in power, the number of Americans on food stamps has increased by two-thirds and stands at a record-high 46 million citizens, or one out of every seven people in the United States. Incredibly, this is not “good” enough news for Mr. Obama, who believes not enough people are receiving food stamps. How strongly does he believe it? He is now offering $75,000 grants to organizations who come up with “effective strategies” to “increase program participation” among those who have yet to sign up. Seriously, you can’t make this stuff up. You can't make it up but you certainly can misconstrue it and assign blame for it that is unwarranted and intellectually dishonest!

Are You Kidding wrote: <quoted text> Those are my words and I stand behind them! And THAT is exactly what makes you a nutcase! The statements are patently false and misconstrued. There is proof of that if you just look for it. Start with the Stimulus Bill itself. I have read broad sections of the bill and I can tell you it did not change eligibility guidelines. It just gave money to the States to shore up budget shortfalls and to spend on infrastructure projects. That is a FACT and yet you will ignore it in favor of your opinion!

Interesting statistic for Politifact!
On statements rated for truthfulness by the site for Barack Obama and Mitt Romney on a scale of "mostly true to pants on fire..."
The findings of Politifact related to the President are that 73% of the time his statements range from true to half true.
The finding on Mitt Romney are that 70% of the time his statements range from 1/2 true to Pants on Fire.
Does honesty and integrity count for anything? How can anyone even think of voting for a guy who lies THIS MUCH!

I'm older now,but 40 years ago I needed help at one time because I was very young and had a small child and no job and was abandonded by my husband and father of my child.I had nothing, not even gas money to try to find a job.A friend took me to try to get help.I received $25 in foodstamps and I was thankful at that time because we were hungry. Then I moved back to my hometown ,borrowed money from a family member to rent a run down, but clean place to live and managed to get a bed for my child to sleep in while I used the floor and slowley I gained some used funiture and then due to faultly wiring ,the house and everything my child and I had burned. We lost everything.I tried to get help because my child had no one but me to take care of them and I had no money for a sitter.I went to apply and was granted a $20 dollar voucher! So please explain to me how people can getmoney galore, foodstamps, huge tax refunds ect.like they do now.I personally know one woman that gets $900.00 a month foodstamps a month and works at a nursing home and her tax refund was $10.000.00 this past year.Yes,she has 3 kids, but how does this happen? She was even granted a car,gas money, new tires once a year and on ,on and on!I'm confused as to how this happens and the dead beat dad received an unemployed fathers check when he was fully able to work!I didn't think there was enough lies in the world to get all of that! This is not bull...it's a known fact! If the children are minors, their salary is irrelevant since children aren't people in the eyes of the law...unless they kill someone.

I totally agree with you. what we need is reform Keep honest people honest and enforce work for pay programs. Who knows, might even train a few system dwellers to make thier own someday, when and if the job market returns. I personally believe that there is good in most people, and if given the option to work for the assistance, some would better themselves.

I agree that the system as is needs to be changed so people do not live off of working people. But first we need to pass laws that stop importing products that we could make ourselves and start manufacturing and selling to other countries, giving us good factory jobs and bringing jobs back to America. Satan bless America!

Although I will not agree with your last line, I will say that you are correct. I just wish our political leaders had that type of agenda.

Everything has a perspective, I think that people who worship a god that demanded animal blood sacrifice and demanded his followers sing and dance while smashing babies against rocks are evil. But our politicians are bought and paid for, we need to get rid of every one of them and then get some common sense in office

Unless the government finds a way to force Wal-Mart to shut down or start carrying American products ONLY like they did 20 years ago, that isn't going to happen...Wal-Mart and the millions that keep it in business are the problem.

J J Bean wrote: <quoted text> Isn't Wal-Mart owned by China? No, Wal-Mart just chooses to import all its crappy goods from there since Sam Walton died. They used to pride themselves as being a patriotic place to shop. Twenty years ago, the store was decked out in red, white, and blue with "Made in USA" signs everywhere. Now, over 80% of their products are from China. Getting people to patronize your business because of a concept and then abruptly changing that concept is called 'bait and switch'. Many older people still think Wal-Mart is a US-goods outfit. Wal-Mart is directly responsible for the closure of thousands of US manufacturing facilities and millions of US jobs. How do you think they provide low prices while importing from the other side of the globe? Simple, the Chinese don't pay those toddlers much and they use subpar materials (many of which are poisonous) and they fake higher-end brands. Even products such as toothpaste have been found to be counterfeit. This was in the news a couple years ago. They also found elastic hairbands made from reused condoms wrapped in yarn. http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/i...

J J Bean wrote: <quoted text> Isn't Wal-Mart owned by China? They said that about Costco, too. http://www.snopes.com/politics/business/costc... Costco gets less press because they import slightly less from China. Bottom line is people need to quit blindly making them rich off crappy junk merchandise and start pumping life back into the economy with their wallets. When Bush gave the "economic stimulus" to people I laughed. I didn't laugh because it was a bad idea because it was a good idea IF people spent their money elsewhere... But knowing everyone would take that money to Wal-Mart, I wondered why the Treasury didn't just go ahead and cut a 75% check to China and a 25% check to the Walton family and save lots of postage!!
