If everyone in this community would donate $10 they would have the money to bury their lost loved one and crazy just shut up I'm sure not everyone in your family or you is perfect.

When people are used to the government handing them everything they need, they just expect everyone else to do the same. I'm sure the taxpayers have been keeping these folks up for a long time. I feel sorry for the child, however people die in car wrecks daily. It would be like me being a single mother setting up a fund when there are millions more mothers with the same struggle.

What station ran this on their news? While I am saddened by this loss of life I think the family should shoulder the final expense respnsibility and not expect the community to pay. Sadly lives are lost everyday by many who struggle financialy but they don't go public and ask others to pay their bills. Insurance was designed for situations such as this. Given all the other circmstances previously state I can not in good conscience contribute. I pray for the little boy.
I agree with your point that there are other people who struggle financially but don't rely on either the government or the public. People who are used to hand outs don't mind asking for them. A member of my family passed away and was not fortunate enough to have life insurance. Two of us tightened our belts and made payments until the burial was paid for. You can believe Harrod Brothers charged us some hefty interest but we weren't expecting anyone else to foot the bill. That's what families do. This girl has a family. If THEY all contribute a little every month THEY TOO can pay for their loved ones final expenses the was decent people do.

This girl may have had issues, but dosn't everyone? I do not know her,but she was a human being and very young. I cannot believe people do this crap! Don't donate $ if you don't want to,but why slandor her name. I bet everyone on here has done something wrong in their past or have a family member who has! The girl is dead for Gods sake! She has a mom, dad, brother or other family members that doesn't need to see this! I feel sorry for anyone who loses a loved one.Have you all ever lost someone? If not, just wait, you will! Now go ahead and bash me for writting this. I don't care!Yes,if 10 bucks would help,I will give it in a way to help the child with a Christmas gift!

She probably does have "a mom, dad, brother or other family members. It's time for THEM to step up, act like family and DO THE RIGHT THING THEMSELVES!!! It's NOT about Christmas gifts it's about family and personal responsibility toward family. My taxes have already contributed my $10 and more. If "know what" or anyone else wants to contribute they can of course do so. Why get on here and bash people who choose to exercise their right to express an opinion or NOT contribute?

To me it dosn't matter what issues she had, everyone deserves to be laid to rest, not everyone is rich and cant afford life insurance, last time i checked, we are all brothers and sisters in gods eyes, lets take care of each other, and help this family out!!!

Because the money will not go to the funeral home. She is suffering because her bf and family are drug users and are always looking for a way to cheat the system.
If u want to make a donation.... Please, please pay it to Rogers funeral home. Her mother is a piece of shit crack head/drug abuser so only give to the funeral home if you are going to.
Bf is no better. Father is a pos too!!!
Only give to the funeral home.... Do not give to the KECU account bc that money will not go to where it is intended. Trust me on this one!!!!

I guarantee the person wanting everyone to donate $10 won't even donate themselves. I'm not familiar with how funeral homes work but I'm sure they work with families who aren't in the best financial situations. Taxpayers will be contributing more than their fair share for a long time towards this family. Everybody has to tighten their purse strings these days, and when tragedy strikes you tighten them even more and you get by.

Seriously? Why are people like you still alive and someone like Courtney gone? Courtney would do anything for anyone she was loved by everyone and will greatly be missed! Yes she made mistakes but everyone does no one is perfect! Her family is asking for help because its alot of money and they don't have it all at once and they had to have $1500 to have her cremated! If you don't want to help that's fine but keep your damn mouths shut! You would not like it if it was ur family member someone was talking about so stop it! Courtney was driving a 2012 rental car because her car was hit a few weeks ago! Get ur shit straight before you run that mouth!

Well, not anything - like provide a safe car seat and a sober driver, for anyone - like her own son.

This reminds me of the family of David Manns. He died not too long ago and a couple months before he died of cancer he got his disability settlement and he was too sick to spend it so HIS FAMILY SPENT IT THEN ASKED COMMUNITY HELP AFTER HE DIED FOR BURIAL MONEY. THATS SAD. HE WAS FINALLY LAID TO REST 2 MO AFTER HE DIED

myself, and my siblings, have paid to bury, many of our loved ones. not easy on anyone, but like you said, its the rite thing to do. we were taught that by our parents, family takes care of family.shame on people looking to strangers, man up and do the rite thing.
