The Apostolic occult/cult is taking a beating in Somerset, "Apostolic Church Home Wrecker" and Russell Springs, "Apostolic: Church or Occult?"

You don't need to Google "Apostolic" and "Cult" to find that this is a brainwashing cult. They have caused a lot of people a lot of family problems.

Sorry--should have said you need to Google "Apostolic" and "Cult" especially in "advanced search."

This is NOT a matter of denomination bashing. It is a matter of Christianity versus a very deceiving and evil cult misleading people with false doctrine. When a religion takes advantage of elderly, lonely women and tried to replace their actual families with "church" families, think of the "Peoples Temple" and Jim Jones and the Waco, TX, Dividians. One man invented religion is no better than another.

Yeah, well we had a post about JW's and people relentlessly bashed them. Probably because they follow the book more closely than most Baptists I've met.

It is a shame that these cults spring up with some new way to obtain salvation which is, in fact, no new way at all. All they have to offer is a newly invented man's religion that serves to lead people astray.
A little research shows the Apostolic movement to be among the worst of the worst. They pray on elderly women and con them on the pretext of great love for them--hugs, pats, kisses, etc., while teaching a false doctrine that was first developed in California in 1913.

You are wrong. This issue is not about money, but heaven versus hell. It is very serious when a ho puts on Holy Ghost garb and goes to an Apostolic cult on Sunday and has a whore monger in her home on Monday and a different one on Wednesday and these are the one that valet parking in her driveway, the ones of lower class must use the hole in her fence. See and hear "the rest of the story" @kentuckyforum.info ANGEL CASE.

all religions are made up by someone.. its just a way to give people vage answers to meeningless lives. You Bible you hold so dear to you'r heart has been revised, re-edited, and redone many times... you think King James translated the bible word for word? The Catholic's would even let you look at the real manuscripts. Its just rules written down to instill morality in people so the world dont destroy itself... every new age has a new anti christ.. a new message.. god has been coming for his people since christ actually died. dont get on here and hate on another religion just because its different from you'rs.. Look around on Topix... people come here to hate.. why assosiate yourself with this... and if you are a preacher trying to gain fallowers then why not say what church you go to so that people who might feel the same way would come to you'r church.. you didn't cause you dont care.. you just want to spread hate.

This issue is NOT about hate! It is about a religion invented by one man in California in 1913 that wanted to have a new way of gaining salvation. The Apostolics' beliefs contradict the Bible in several ways.
As for the ANGEL CASE, she goes to church on Sundays and has whore mongers in her home on weekdays and the "cult" does not care. The Guru that leads the cult apparently will not even address the issue with her or make any attempt to counsel or guide her into righteousness.
As one former member said, they are about CHURCH--not CHRIST! They are about themselves and showmanship.

Oakwood is pretty dead. The latest info is at kentuckyforum.info. A lot of information is going to the prosecutor's office tomorrow for consideration. She is trying her best to defraud the Strawberry Man out of a ton of money like she did the late Phillip Angel. See: Liberty Topix, thread "Strawberries." His children have been warned of her intention and skills.

"The Angel" appears to be in a lot of trouble. There is a lot of "evidence" that she is selling drugs imported from Florida and missing several cult meetings at her Apostolic gatherings. An Apostolic saint by Sunday and a ho, thief and ho by Monday. A real angel, right?

In the end it comes down to 1 simple fact that Jesus Christ died on the cross and through him is the one and only means into Heaven. As for all the rest; tradition, doctrine, people, motives and lifestyles, we are all not perfect that is the very reason that Jesus died for our sins, through his grace we are granted salvation.

Must you state your religion as fact. If you are concerned about peoples well being or safety thats fine but seems you have other motives as well. If you really care why don't stop playing the whose religion is better game and maybe I could take you seriously.

To most people who claim a religion it is fact to them. That is why it's their religion. So yes I will state mine as it is fact. As should you. If you are unable to do the same then I suggest you have a better understanding of your own beliefs. This is a statement to everyone, you should not "bash" any other persons beliefs prior to understanding your own.

I was bashing no one. I could not care less what you or anyone else believes. Not everyone believes in what you do. It is super annoying when people speak as if they are the know all end all. Christians are serious offenders of this. I don't have beliefs, I believe in science which is based in fact. I don't throw that around in religious peoples faces or try and force my views on them.
