In the last three years, that's called progress. The economy is recovering and jobs are being added regularly.

Actually, Obama's highest unemployment rate was 10.1 in 10/09.
The share of the population with jobs–which is known as the employment-population ratio, and is often cited by Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke–rose to 58.7 percent from 58.3 percent. In 2006 it was over 63 percent, so there’s a long way to go.

There is some time to go but progress is being made and that's a fact.

I will give him credit for getting the unemployment rate down but it is still not where it needs to be. Also, what about all of the other issues which affect the economy?

What about the Republicans blocking every attempt to help the economy these past 4 years, just hoping to make things so bad that people would forget who caused it all and maybe vote for them ?

These figures are incorrect because they do not account for people that quit looking for work, have been unemployed for a certain time period and who are under employed such as part time compared to full time. You should really research this more before you start blowing people about it.

Yeah, but it does include all the lazy asses who won't even look for a job until their 2-3 years worth of unemployment runs out.

Well when u lose a job making $19 an hour ur sure not settling for $8 an hour when unemployment pays more. The employers pay this money in not employees. So unless u own ur own business and have previous employees drawing unemployment why do u care?

It shows Obama is making progress even with all the Republican opposition he has faced.

It's called PROGRESS people, you can attempt to deny the president the props he's due but people with even half a sense know who's really looking after their interests and working on their behalf.

There is nothing about him which is progressive. I can almost guarantee you the unemployment rate will go back up next month.
You also have to look at more than just the unemployment rate. You find one positive item and you go on and on about it.

What about the rest of the economy? What about the over $16 trillion deficit? What about the mess in Libya? What about him requesting federal contractors to break the law so they do not advise employees of possible job losses prior to the election? What about his encouraging voters in Ohio to vote early prior to the next debate and prior to the next jobs numbers?

I could go on and on!!!!

The unemployment rate is at 8.1% according to the liberal news media but they are not counting the ones that still do not have a job but are no longer receiving a check because they have run out. If that socialist muslim gets back into our White House 100,000 more jobs will be lost by 2014 because of his policies and his attack on the coal and oil industries. His Obamacare will cost this country even more jobs. I also don't like the thought of a committee of people deciding when and where and what type of medical treatment I can receive if I am sick I do believe that should be my doctors recommendation so piss on Obama and good by to a socialist muslim

He isn't a Muslim and even if he was why would it matter? Could it be your lack of education and intolerance of other cultures and full of hate and bigotry passed down by generations of idiots? I'd say so..
