Well ggsd I had stupidly plead guilty to criminal attempt at theft of a motor liscening decal because my court appointed attorney (Clay Wilkey)was a JOKE and I was desperate to get released after being held in jail for 10 days. (Now I'm lumped in with murderer's, rapists, and the like. Because of this mess I lost my job, my home, and my liscense for a year. I desperately need work and can't find any because of this. Any help would be appreciated.

In Kentucky, criminal attempt at theft of a motor license decal is an A misdemeanor. Theft of a motor license decal, itself, is a D felony. Criminal Attempt knocks it down to an A misdemeanor.

See not everybody is a lazy f*ck drawing a check and foodstamps.... Theres this thing, it`s called making an honest living! Most people do it... I reccomend it, but then again this is frankfort and there are alot of lazy bastards who would rathr risk their freedom and sell drugs then get up and work.... Man what has happened to this town???

Oh and i re-read my post and it sounds like im saying everyone drawing a check and food stamps is lazy and i didnt mean that by any means.... I just meant most of these little drug dealers are ones who draw checks and food stamps and sell on the side instead of getting off their ass like most humane people... Sry if i offended anyone who does their best but still needs assistance..... Ive been there too and know how it is and there is no reason to sell dope..... Ive lived off of one income with a baby and husband for over a year.... It gets hard and the one income was barely over min. Wage..... We had what we needed and never had to stoop so low to sell drugs

How long has it been? You can look into having your record expunged.
Believe it or not, that question on applications varies from town to town.
There was a town in New Jersey that had to eliminate that question because they had such a high percentage of felons that they couldn't hire locally.
The people petitioned the city and won.

Its hard to get into factory work if you have a felony.. only thing you may get is fast food, or even a store like walmart or kroger.

btw dairy queen on the east side is having walk-in interviews Monday from 2-4.

good luck

Sir, it is very hard to get a job in this area with a felony. The best thing you can do is to check first if they will even work with you ad ask them what kind of background check that they do. Some places may work with you. Try Aeroteck in Lexington and ask for Gerard. He will help you. He is helping me; they are am employment agency. Goodluck and God bless you.

Try the temp. service. They are hiring felonies to work at the state now. Ridiculous and these people have access to our private information.
