It works just fine. Maybe something is wrong with your browser.
Try right-clicking a link and pick 'Open in a new Tab'. If the page is blank, go to the address bar and delete the ".modal" and replace with ".html"
please unlock

I get alot of the same thing, a big white box pops up.
I think they are just trying to get money out of people by people paying the $10 a month or whatever it is they are wanting for it now.
Im not paying it. I quit buying their paper a long time ago and now you cant even read an obituary.
I get my news here. lol

Tell me which Obituary you can't read because they all open fine for me and I don't pay:
http://www.state-journal.com/obituaries

Sounds like a classic "Id-10-t" issue.

I tried with Internet Explorer and they opened fine, even though I had to wait about 15 seconds...

Under each Obituary is a link that says "More". Right-click that link and select "Open in a New tab". Problem solved.

I have recently stopped buying their paper too. They can't seem to get their bookkeeping straight as it regards to billing for subscriptions. At the rate they are dissatisfying customers they'll be out of business soon.
