Don't ask a doctor for a drug. This new casper program has the doctors so screwed up, they don't know what is a drug and what isn't.
Besides, if you ask for a drug by name, makes you look smarter then them.
The schools have our kids at 3-4 yrs. of age, the goverment is now telling your doctor what he can give you, what's next? A FBI Agent standing at the foot of your bed timing you guys? Feel sorry for the United states. All the men/women that have fought/died for the U.S. and now you're being treated worse then inmates.
The clock is ticking guys...Get ready, set, go...Times up, hope it was good for you.

I am not your buddy! Where did I say you were going to jail? I said if you ask for a drug by name, you would look smarter then the doctor. Have you not had your meds this morning? I haven't and you'll see. This new law on drugs will backfire. People who want drugs or need them, will find a way to get them. Please correct me if I'm wrong but everytime the goverment sticks their nose in everybody else's business, it only gets worse.
We are tied up with the new casper program. Everything is legal, the damn doctor doesn't know the law. Handed us a handful of papers to sigh and then turned around and done what he just had me to sign that says it's wrong. Better start checking your meds closer if the doctor can't figure out the law.

Do you think Death really cares if male/female? You start dying the day you are born. You have no promised time on this earth. You come into this world as a new life. You go out as a new death, 1 hour after birth, a day later, 25 years later or 115 years later. It doesn't really matter. You are born, you die, simple as that. They feed the earth with the afterbirth and feed the earth with your cold dead body. Big deal.

I know what the drug is. Does the damn doctor. We are having our first experience with Casper over a med my husband has taken for 20 years. Workers comp will pay, druggist will fill, damn doctor is now afraid of the law. Who is now controlling his problems...his doctor...the druggest...The Goverment. He can't be fixed, period. Why should he have to suffer over a law...PT want help, surgery want help. They were keeping him comfortable. Not now. You wait until the right one down town needs some meds and the doctor says no, heads will roll. hope somebody has the guts to put their name on here.
I predict hospital visits will go up, insurance will go up, meds will go up...ALL BECAUSE THEY CAN.
Like gas, the goverment now can raise prices on meds.
This is going to blow up in somebody's face.

You sound stupid. Phentermine is in the amphetamine family for weigh loss. Any patient on it has to have an ECG every 30 days and the prescribing limit is 6 months. If your husband is on a dangerous weight loss drug that is similar enough to cocaine to have federal restrictions on prescribing BEFORE the new Kasper laws, your husband should see a lawyer. Phentermine causes pulmonary hypertension if on it too long. You are full of crap and on a different agenda. Take your pain pill addicted husband to another thread.

Patient, you should be careful of calling someone stupid when you don't have all the facts straight yourself. You DON'T have to have any fancy test to get phentermine. The diet clinic will chart your weight and blood pressure and see what kinds of medicine you already take. That's all! I know first hand and anyone interested can call Horizon and ask them for information.

I'm on it! Have been for 5 months. By an internal medicine physician and NOT a medical office uneducated on the long term effects of such a dangerous, yet effective, drug. Sorry, but YOU are much more misinformed than me.

Oh and one more little fact, I'm a licensed nurse practitioner and well aware of the long term effects of that and many more drugs than you have heard of. We know other doctors over prescribe, but that doesn't make it safe. How many lawsuits do you see AFTER the damage has been done? We don't believe in that. We want patients safe and healthy.

I never said my husband was on it. I said I knew what it was. I have also changed his doctor because the old doctor doesn't know how to follow the new laws. He now goes to the V.A. for everything.
We are trying to follow the laws. I just made the comment that the goverment is running our lives. Now they run your medical to.
Maybe you should learn how to read and know what meds a person is taking to ASSUME he is a drug addict.
For the record, I would never have come back to Ky if my husband had not wanted to. I live in Ky to make him happy. Period!!!

I stand by what I said in previous post. Horizon Weight Loss Center DOES NOT require anything more than what I listed. No appointment and only takes about fifteen minutes time. Not every place does the same thing, so you may have test done where you go. I didn't say anything about the health effects of the drug. I do believe in taking as prescibed and it's up to each person to decide if the risk is worse than the cure.....so to speak.

All meds have to be looked like that way...is the risk worth the cure? I saw a new med on T.V. today. helps with stiff joints, You can bend your knees and pick up your paper. It also makes your COPD worse, causes cancer, etc. Do i want to pick up my paper or breath? I think each person should make their own decission to take a drug or not. how will you feel in a couple of years when the goverment says, NO, they took the drug, let them die. It's coming.

Just for the record, according to the doctor, both my husband and myself are the right weight for our bone structure and height!

The DEA website says we are not trying to scare doctors from prescribing meds. Yeah what a crock of sh t. They have scared every doctor. Its a shame people have to live in fear for doing their JOB. I mean how can the government go after our most educated people in America. Yes there are a handful of doctors doing wrong but scaring every doctor is the wrong answer.
