I think they are very harsh to the people there and treat them like animals! Don't get me wrong I know some people deserve rougher treatment, but I know a girl who went there for 30 days and got put in "loce down" for saying Fuck when she didn't get any milk. I mean come on.... Lets not give power to $10.00 an hour guards who are on a powere trip! Leave the harsh punishment for the real tough hard core criminals!!!

I think that they have to put up with a lot of crap. Drunk ass people who wanna come in and fight them and people who need to grow up. Power trip huh? Maybe they enforce the rules? They are people of authority and need to be respected if you dont like the damn place then stay out of it!!! They work hard and deal with several stressful situations and get no APPRECIATION! Come on people again like I said if you dont like it or the fact that you didnt get any damn milk then stay out! One less person in there is one less person my tax dollars have to pay for.

I am sure that things are tough on the guards. I am sure that they work very hard. My concern is that when a judge grants a man work release and he gets turned down at the jail, why did you need a judges order for work release if it is up to one person at the jail that approves or denies the inmate. When someone goes in that has a family to support and they don't get thier work release it really puts a hardship on the family. Ten years ago there were 12 - 15 people on work release. Now out of all the people in that jail there is one! If the judge grants them work release then he is saying that it is okay for them to take care of thier family and be incarcerated. The jail shouldn't deny a working man the right to take of his family, especially if the inmate has followed EVERYONES rules. I just don't understand and no one cares to explain it.

Sometimes girls are innocent. They just need a little direction, not a lock-down.

lol. I don't want my taxes to pay for cleaning supplies. I really dont care about people in jail that much, because they are a burden on society. They should have to pay for their own jail time, and if they want milk, they should have to buy it. I never understood why it was possible for people in jail to cost money to people who are not in jail. Also.. Criminals should not get work release... ever. Taking care of a family means working and not being a criminal. If you are not a criminal you will have work release for your entire life.

Jail is not meant to be a nice place.
Jail is meant to be a place that you do not want to come back to.
With so many people going to jail (for minor offenses) over and over the experience must not be bad enough.
Lock down? Don't get arrested in the first place and you will not get locked down.(should a CRIMINAL have rights while in jail?)
As long as you are not denied life saving medical care and food, or are not beaten or injured then you have nothing to cry about because you are in jail for committing a crime against some one else.
Rob some one and then cry because your sweets where stolen? I do not think so!

Inmates who have a short jail sentence, or minor offenses should go to work to pay for their jail cost and support their familys because the tax payers pay for welfare too.
Put the criminals to work rather then let them sit around watching T.V. or sleeping!

That is right! Stay out! If you commit a crime against some one you have no right to cry about how you are treated! If you beat your wife up I think the cops should beat you up!
I thought that Franklin County Regional was the hospital?
You are not supposed to like being in jail.

If they where let out on parole he would have been in prison, not jail. Jails do not have parole.
