I have a child that just graduated from hills and one going into hills. It is a good school. They are truly concerned with your childs education and they work with you and the child if they fall behind or need specific attention on a specific subject.

You know what opinions are like, and yes, everybody has one. I did not attend either school, but since my children will eventually end up in one of Frankforts high schools, I have also asked the same question. What you get is people bashing the school they go to because they don't agree with something that has happened to them there, or bashing the other schools because they don't go there. You are going to hear good and bad about each one. Look into the schools academic reports and decide for yourself. There are good and bad kids in all of them, so it's really up to the kid to stay away from the trouble and drama.

whhs, I agree with you. But that is how teenagers are, posturing for attention and a higher niche in the food chain. Good thing most of them grow up.

Hills is as good as the teachers they can retain and the parents that participate...it varies. Kids are kids, but the more parent involvement and teachers who LOVE to teach = GREAT SCHOOL. Keep them active in the community, i.e., church and volunteering, AND SCHOOL. Ask questions and stay in contact with their teachers.

I went, and it wasn't that bad, as a whole. There were douchebag sports team bullies who thought they were something important. There were evil girls who did whatever they could to make someone else's time a little harder. There were teachers who bullied the people who weren't the kind of person the teacher was in high school. One teacher told my little brother couldn't stand his "freakish, opinionated, b**ch sister". The entire semester he was in her class, this teacher gave him a hard time.

It wasn't bad, though. Most people don't really care too much and if they do you can usually skip class and do your thing in the library.

My son went there as a Freshman. The teachers SUCKED. They could care less about the students (especially Ms. Smith)she is the spanish teacher there. She told my son the middle of the year that he wasn't gonna get credit in her class. My son got hit in the eye with a pencil, she never turned the incident to the office. I had to go to the school and tell them myself. She was always rude when I e-mailed her. There are some teachers that could care less about the kids and that is the reason kids quit school. By the way my son transferred to county this year and is making great grades. He did not like WHHS. The pricipal and the office staff are real nice to the students and the parents. Also, if you don't have money, your a nobody. There a groups of parents that give money and are at Hills all the time, BROWN NOSING. I didn't have a problem with the school, but I did with some of the teachers there. My son is a great student and a great son and for him to be treated that way by a teacher is terrible.

I went there. Graduated in 2004. I always liked it. As far as I can remember all of my teachers were great.

I'm glad to see that those wonderful teachers at County were able to make you such a good writer. I respect the teachers at County and Hills, but your logic seems awfully flawed.

its not the school. its the teachers and staff. teachers want to be friends with the students. they have NO contol over their students. I was checking out my niece from there one day and they couldn't even find her. they told me she was probalby in the halls somewhere and for me to go look for her. wth? why didn't they know where she was and is it my resposiblity to roam the halls looking for her? what a joke. and by the way, class was in session so nobody should have been roaming the halls.

I love Hills. The teachers love their students and since its small you know almost everyone but not enough to know everyone's names. The kids have fun and majority of us love our teachers. Every school needs work in some areas, but overall Hills is a good school and i wouldn't have wanted to spend my high school career anywhere else.

I recently graduated from there and I loved the school, teachers, activities. It's not the school that has the issue, it's the other students that make the atmosphere bad.
i must agree
